My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful family run resort for 2 weeks.. We loved everything about Ha'atafu including breakfast (French toast was sooo good) and the buffet dinner each night was 5 star and their lovely tradition of grace each night then allowing the woman and children to go first,,, that made it so special. We were...

Couldn't really be any better for a family mid winter getaway. Relaxed and intimate family atmosphere with white sand beach and whales cruising up and down the coast every day. Kids roam free all day while parents chill :-)

We have just returned from the most perfect week in Tonga , at this fabulous holiday spot...i agree with Halcyontwo about being reluctant to create more awareness of this wonderful place, the relaxing but totally comfortable atmosphere... picture perfect beach, great snorkelling in the lagoon, kayaking, wonderful food, and perhaps the best part of all - the people! Kindness and...

Located on the beach in the north west of Tongatapu, this might seem isolated but is idyllic. With swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, surfing, whales (in season) or just sitting on the beach under the shade there is plenty to do, or just relax. We had a premium beachfront fale with sea views, large deck (under cover and in the sun)...

I am reluctant to increase awareness further on this fabulous holiday experience for fear that it will become difficult to getting a booking, but I can't speak highly enough of this resort. It is family run and from the first minute we were greeted by Hola at the airport until the time he dropped us off again we were treated...

We spent 4 nights at this wonderful resort and it was everything we dreamed of !!! From the beautiful fale - clean, well equipped and the most magical view ever!!!! It is not often in the western world that the reality is better than the advertising but in this case I can honestly say it was. Moana, her husband and...

This resort is superb for good old fashioned R & R. The views are magnificent from the beach front fales, and the breakfast and evening meals are excellent. We spent most of our time snorkeling, kayaking and reading. This is not the resort for you if you like mass produced resorts. it is for people who want something unique, and...

Had a great time during our 5 nights here end of July 2016. Awesome going out early morning with the locals to catch fish for the resort. 40AUD for about 3 hours which is a really good price. I caught 6 yellow fin tuna on a hand line and when the locals had caught what they needed, then they let...

Your average soulless glitzy resort this is certainly not - if your preference is for a genuine escape from your busy life Ha'atafu is just what you've been looking for. Our family fale was spacious and spotlessly clean. Included meals (breakfast and dinner) were fantastic - no reason to go hungry, and plenty of variety. Lunch is also available from...
