I loved staying here, million dollar view of the harbour, on Sunday the entire town reverberates with singing from church and it will take your breath away! Very clean, nice big comfy bed, no wifi (but struggled to get connected anywhere in town) and the shower was steaming hot and good pressure. The staff are really lovely, I had a...

Hilltop has really lovely staff. Rooms are clean and light with nice quality bedlinen. Bathroom is basic and some water issues due to a pump problem they were trying to fix. Get a room with its 180 degree view of the harbour. Awaken at 4.45am to the sound of church bells, roosters, pigs and dogs, then the most exquisite sounds...

Stunning view over Neiafu from harbour view rooms and public areas. Staff are friendly and most helpful and prices are reasonable. Can use kitchen facilities. Rooms are clean and spacious Nice distance away from town centre as only 10 min walk - quiet and tranquil location.

I stayed at Hilltop during my second work visit to Vavau since Port Wine was fully booked. The accommodation is average with some water problems and it lacked the homely warmth Port Wine offers. Any new visitor is likely to get homesick upon arrival. Since it is located on top of a hill, an exhausting climb is expected in the...

First opinion upon arrival was OMG! I had the GardenRroom view and my friend had a Harbour Room view which had a much better view, however not for the extra charge. Both rooms had very basic facilities and the shower water took forever to get warm and then it only lasted a few minutes - if that! Pigs, chickens and...

I stayed in a garden view room which was a good size and very clean. The room view is non existent however. The water doesn't really get hot however despite how much time you leave the heater on. Wifi works only by the reception and is weak. There is a kitchen you can use although it's not the most clean....

A group of us took 3 rooms - 2 harbour views and 1 garden and we were very happy with our accommodation (although apparently the dogs can be a bit noisy in the balcony rooms). Fabulous views over town and the harbour, clean and tidy rooms. Free wifi from the very pleasant dining/lounge room, and we all tended to congregate...

We stayed here one night because everything else was full - now I know why. The rooms are pretty shabby and the hotel offers nothing - no sign of breakfast and you couldn't even get a bottle of water. It was really noisy at night first of all from other guests through the paper thin walls and then from the...

As the name says...the Hilltop Hotel is located on the top of a hill overlooking the bay... Quite a nice view... The hotel, though, is quite basic in that the room was simple but clean... The staff were very friendly and did their best to accommodate. No TV or internet...but you can go down into Neifu to access internet at...

This is a quaint hotel with a wonderful view over the harbour and town. The rooms are clean with balconies, mozzie nets and good hot water. It is a short walk to town but coming back it is all up hill, it is a nice walk to introduce you to the neighbourhood and see want is going on around town....
