Stay with this lovely family for awesome volcano views! One of the highlights of our holiday in Vanuatu was the active volcano Mt Yasur, on Tanna Island. We stayed with Morris and Susie who run Volcano Island Paradise Bungalow. Morris picked us up from the airport in Lenakel town with a stop for shopping for basics like fresh water, snacks,...

Lovely remote place to stay and visit the volcano. You can hear and see it, very nice. The owner is a very friendly man who lives there with his wife and kids. He builds the huts himself with the tools and possibilities he has got. The bungalows are basic but work well. At least it's way more adventurous than staying...

Morris and his family are delightful. We had a lovely night (sorry it wasn't longer) at the bungalows. Simple but delightful. And the views of the volcano are amazing. A walk around the village is also a wonderful way to see a bit of village life. Thanks Morris. Good luck with the extensions!

First of all, sorry Morris, it took me such a long time to finally write something down. But you and your family are always in my mind! Hope you are all doing very well. Best regards to Johnson! I did the trip to Vanuatu at end of last year because I was attracted by the famous "underwater post" in Port...

We stayed for 3 nights in the niciest bungalow with the most amazing view we have ever had! We enjoyed the walk through the village with Matthew, Morris' eldest son, and the swim in the refreshing river. We were astonished by Mt Yasur (and by the entrance fee, but that's another story)' hopefully we could dive into that glowing and...

Our stay with Morris and his family was fantastic. Morris is very welcoming. I would recommend his pick up and drop off from the airport as it is good value for Tanna and very convenient. We loved the simple accommodation with a view of the volcano. The volcano itself is incredible, easily the most amazing thing I have ever seen....

Morris, Suzie and their kids made us feel like family. So friendly, accommodating and helpful with our 3yo and baby. Our son cried saying goodbye! The view of the volcano was breathtaking and you could see it breathe at day and night, even lava at times! You could also hear it, boom! Rooms basic but clean upon arrival. Surprisingly cool...

Morris and a friend met us and drove us into town where we waited for some time and did some grocery shopping. Eventually we drove across the island to the village where Morris lives and has his bungalows. We stayed in one of the bungalows that survived the cyclone. It was wonderful! With a view of the volcano through the...
