I stayed here with three of my children for 2 nights. It is cosy and quirky, great breakfast, beautiful surroundings, very comfortable room. But the best bit was Renee and Marije. They were laid back, helpful, friendly and fun; Renee took us out to look...More

Hi Sylvia, Maun is a nice city with some interesting bars and restaurants to chill out in but not a lot more to do there. If you turn left when leaving Discovery, you have a 45 minute ride over a very bad road, to the entrance of Moremi Game Park. We have a wonderful game viewing time there, the highlight being a herd of bathing hippos. But a strong word of warning, DO NOT self drive. I have a 4x4 and still got stuck more than once in the very deep and fine sand they call a road. There are great guides in suitable vehicles which are the recommended option.
