We came here for some heat and rest. , on 18th October 19 for 3 weeks- v v lazy but bliss! Initially we were booked into playa Azul, los America’s, too close to ‘Veronicas Strip’ for us, (early 60s couple) - however my husband didn’t like it either as we felt I might not be v safe going fir evening stroll.. we had no trouble moving - we went to Royal Snset Beach at Fanabe (Adeje) and it is perfect!! Pool bar, great menu and drinks at reasonable prices. As we had been booked into a 2 bed apt (didn’t need) we had v comfortable sun loungers n our balcony with table & chairs.. bliss for us! Due to me watching deals n trip advisor, I mixed up accom names, & had mistakenly booked their property at Sunset Harbour, so had v v pleasant weekend there & then had lovely further 11 days here too- not bad. 😂. No harm in keeping an eye on the ‘online prices’ which change a few times a day! No, neither of us would return to Playa Azul apartments- though they were quite reasonable in changing our booking with refund. Might be better for younger pop! 😂. Weather bit cloudy & drizzly when we stayed at Sunset Harbour, - Simone in their bistro! Food delicious! Will follow up at the end

We were the only family at the resort. Despite that, the staff took care of our every need. Sarah was very sweet and helped us with rook service. Overall, all the staff were very friendly and nice. From the reception staff to the security staff, all were very very nice and accommodative of us. Positively responded to our needs. They even cleaned the pool completely for us, you wouldn't expect this level of service if you were the only 4 guests in the WHOLE resort. I feel the resort is very undermined. They deserve more stars and better reviews. Although, the aesthetic appeal of the site isn't fabulous. I would recommend this place if you go as a large group, as you can cook in their apartments too. You can do the famous reef walk at low tide. We had two beach boys named Tony and Steve who took us for the walk. They were very well informed. The walk took us approximately two hours to complete. You do not need to know how to swim for this walk. Will surely visit Royal Reserve Safari & for Resort Club Mombasa in Kikambala.

Beautiful scenery, surrounded with coconut trees and flowers. Friendly staff at this resort and helpfull. Beautiful swimming pool area with restaurant to order any dishes. The food prices are reasonable and food is delicious. The only problem we have experienced was the electricity outings that occured, but we used it as candle light dinner and we had a gas stove and not the electricity stove to cook. We were lucky to have a balcony and look out over the sea.

I have been to this location before (about 8 years ago), at that time it was great. I was expecting the same, but was very disappointed. Nothing has been maintained. We were not able to use either of the pools. We arrived in the evening and got room service, the food was warm and dry. There is no wifi at this location. The showers do not really work, the aircon did not work in all rooms. Unless the property is maintained, there is no point of going here.

We spent a week from Sat-08-Apr-2017. No welcome on check-in after a 10 hour drive.... no wet towels or drink. Our request was sea facing cottage, which we received. The Bar was unattended and Beach Bar actually closed. The Restaurant served us Pizza that had un-melted cheese. The two pools were out of order... which we were not advised on check-in. The sign board at pools said "Under Treatment"...... Really!!! Pool only finally being repaired on Thu-13/Fr-14-Apr.
