nice tranquil location. The rooms need to be looked at in detail. The bath rooms, etc seem run down need replacing. The AC in the rooms was very high. I guess, for a humid place like Kisumu, that is fine. The staff were quite helpful. Its a private members club, so limited people use the club facilities. The breakfast was quite...

The Club is open to its members and those from reciprocating clubs in many parts of Kenya. The food on the first night was acceptable; wait staff seemed unhappy and lethargic. It was completely different the next day where the fish was delicious. Club has a great pool and sports facilities.

You make call it the home of Hohangla, African Benga music or the place of partying. The Kisumu city has the best place to party and among the best is the Nyanza Club. It has the ambiance that will attract your attention from far and to me is among he best in the country.

good location...quite close to the Impala Sanctuary.....actually a private club but you can become a member automatically for the duration of your stay.....lots of different room options but we went for one with a bit of a view of the Lake Victoria..unfortunately most don't have as there are buildings in front of them that have the lake view.....good sized room...

I stayed in the Nyanza club in Kisumu, Kenya. The restaurant serves delicious food. But, the hotel rooms are very poor and lack in maintenance. Bath tub leaking, door and windows are not in good condition. Very bad.

Me and since buddies stayed here twice for a respite on a long bit of traveling. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Exactly what we needed to recover from days spent on the road. The pool is lovely and the service is prompt. Coffee isn't great.

The Club situated in lush gardens with all sorts of sporting activities is doing wonders in terms of service and development. Tennis, Squash, Swimming, darts, table Tennis, Snooker and above all a magnificent Golf Course on shores of the Largest Lake in Africa, Lake Victoria. The Rooms have been renovated together with the clubhouse. The Chefs have been recruited from...

The Nyanza club is a 100 years old colonial style club including a quite modern hotel, whose rooms are clean and partly air-conditioned. For the reasonable price you can enjoy a clean room with a refrigerator, TV and a rich breakfast with well-served omelettes. The wifi is used mainly in the reception of the hotel. There are indoor and outdoor...

Spent there on a recent visit. The rooms are spacious and the staff really polite. The food was great and a wide variety. The place is serene and offers one of the best accommodation spots in Kisumu. My disappoint there was no hot water in the morning.had to take a cold shower.

The Nyanza club is an colonial style club / hotel, mostly frequented by Azians. The rooms are clean and the surroundings are nice. The restaurant is clean its meneu consists mainly of chicken disches. For the price you get a clean room and a good breakfast for the rest there are nice other restaurants within walking distance.
