I stayed here for 3 days. Its very cheap, the rooms are very clean . It is really noisy on Friday nights if you have a room overlooking the lake. There is a club next door that is really loud. My room had a fan which sounded like a generator. They have a really good restaurant though.. i had mutton...

In February as a group of nurse volunteers from Australia we stayed in this hotel for one night before venturing onto a safari in the Massai Mara Park. The morning of departure, within a very small time frame of placing my camera on top of my big case in the hotel room, my camera was stolen by the floor security...

As a young solo traveller this is just what you need. Fred on reception is the main man he'll make sure your stay is safe and comfortable. Door is always attended by a guard, rooms are not 5 star but for the budget it's fine. The hotel is a little rough around the edges but for me it was fine....

Its a nice hotel. The restaurant is comfortable and the decor is uplifting. The services are great with average accommodation. Loved some of the Swahili dishes especially chicken pilau.Had a bad experience with byriani. It wasn't fresh and the spices were not just adding up!!

I am from Los Angeles, California and while staying in this hotel for one month I noticed bed bugs on the bed and also cockroaches. The owner and the staff were also thieves and they are extremely dishonest. The reception staff lie and exaggerate the hotel bill. They insisted that I should pay the check in date and also the...

Spent a few days here as part of a volunteer group. Cheap cheap cheap, but felt extremely safe with security guards guarding each floor. As with everyone I met in kisumu, staff were extremely helpful and happy. Breakfast of fruit, eggs and toast is basic but what you would expect for this type of accomodation!

I have stayed here several times over the years and with all things considered for Kenya its a good place to stay. Breakfast is included in the minimal price. The rooms are fairly clean, the noise outside does come into the room at any time of day. The staff are super friendly, Fred at the reception is delightful and the...

Great value for money and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were great and the hotel's location is excellent, being a stone's throw from the lake. Plus there is a bakery close by and good markets too. Loved it.

I stayed in N.V.H. room 205 recently. the room was fine, but the ceiling fan was set at maximum and thus very very noisy and unfortunately the control unit is high up the wall and completely out of reach even after climbing on the table. We had seen liked, booked and paid for the room then went for our luggage ,when we...

This hotel is comfortable enough. We asked for a double room, and had one very small double bed plus a single. Unfortunately the mossie net wasn't big enough to cover the larger bed. It was a bit noisy in the morning, since our room was on the corner with windows overlooking both streets. There was a tv but we didn't...
