All the staff at Wileli House were very kind and attentive. They were very keen to make sure we had our needs met. That said, the place is a bit overpriced (but then again, so are most places in Naivasha, as far as I can tell). The setting -- in a copse of yellow-barked acacia, with views of water from...

Room: It was spacious with a waterfall shower and tub. The balcony had an amazing view and a jacuzzi to enjoy it in. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Grounds: Good grounds, great views, buffalo viewing multiple times, enjoyed the monkeys fooling around but they really need to invest in fumigation especially for the mosquitoes and spiders. Food: The...

The road to the place is not very good so do come mentally prepared. The only road leading to Wileli House is a mud road so be prepared for stones and dust however this is not a problem Wileli House can solve. On arrival you are greeted with a warm welcome by the staff and manager Isaac. We stayed at...

We begun our journey from Nairobi a bit late, got stuck in traffic along Naivasha and took Moi South Rd. By the time we arrived we were in time for dinner so barely took in the sights. Note to self: Start early Arrival We arrived a few minutes to 9pm to a very warm reception by Isaac, the manager. He...

The guide (ADEN) was really nice, knowledgeable and took us at a pace that was comfortable for us. Overall it was an amazing experience. I can dare to say that this walking safari was even better than a driving safari - maybe because we were lucky, maybe because of the animals in the park and knowledgeable rangers.

We stayed with my family for one night in September and I must say we enjoyed it. The road to the place is not very good. The rooms are spacious and work well. The meals are excellent (set menus) but compliments to the chef. Enjoyed the nature walk with the guide (abdi). The place is really good for 1-2 nights...

We booked the family cottage and on arrival we were met by the very charming and friendly manager. After hot towels and a refreshing juice, we were shown to our cottage. It was prepared well though it had no kettle. Our bedrooms were cosy and ensue. Amenities included bathrobes, slippers, soap, shower gel, shampoo etc. We found a hot water...

Perhaps the most outstanding feature of Wileli House is the silence. It's dead. Save for a few chirping birds. The heavy breathing hippos. And the occasional shrieks of the Velvet Monkeys. If you're looking for a silent weekend getaway, or to write a bestseller, go to Wileli House.
