I LOVE traditional Moroccan style hotels, but this one is quite tatty. The rooms (even, like ours, overlooking the car-park) are dark with dim electric lighting & uneven (dangerous?) floor tiles. The furnishing is basic (no drawers,no chairs, just a small stool). In the bathroom there's no plug in the crudely repaired copper washbasin. The plug outlet was so uneven...

What can I say, spent 2 nights at this hotel during a Moroccan tour and loved it. The decor was traditional and amazing - copper sink, giant double bed, tiles on the floor a little uneven but only added to the charm. The pool area was lovely a little oasis on the edge of the Sahara. The only down side...

This family-owned kasbah (fortress) hotel makes you feel right at home on the edge of the Saharan desert. Blue and white tile floors are covered with handwoven Berber rugs. Stenciled geometric Moroccan lamps light up painted ceilings. Rooms are basic. Beds are decent. The bathroom has a high step up into the bathtub/ shower which means you should be spry....

This is our third time at this hotel and each time it was painful. This time it was the fleas that bit many welts in my wife. The hotel cleanliness standards are very poor. The shower is terrible, not safe to use water to brush your teeth, hot water takes 5 minutes and this is no exaggeration. On the plus...

We stayed at several newer and nicer hotels in Morocco, but enjoyed the Kasbah Tizimi the most because it was very authentic. Nothing fancy but really enjoyed our two nights there. Nice pool with bar and food service. Floors in the room and public area had broken tiles and showed age, but that just a little charm. Personnel at front...

We were upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely, roomy & had a four poster bed. bathroom however needed a good clean & a thorough overhaul. Pool was lovely &we seemed to be the only ones there, we had the place to ourselves. real fast was good but evening meal was just OK. It is however the best restaurant...

Hotel is frequented by busses shuttling in tourists - with all the pros and cons that come with that. Staff usually speaks English, but all-inclusive trips means no or small tips for service personnel and associated limited interests in the welfare of the clients. Rooms are big though sparsely furnished, and at least ours were damp and smelled mouldy (surprising...

we stayed one night. The hotel is very beautiful in the public areas such as pool, lobby, reception, bar etc. Food was ok not more than that. Room are big but bathroom looks old and needs major facelift. A shampoo in the room could have helped.

We really enjoyed this hotel in the desert. It is privately-owned and idiosyncratic in its presentation and the owner has furnished the public rooms with local arts and crafts. Rooms are perfectly adequate - washbasins are made from the fossil-filled marble quarried locally. You can see it in the factory just down the road. There's a lovely courtyard swimming pool...

The Tizimi Hotel was quaint, cute, traditional and welcoming. There was a pool and a good bar area and plenty of seating in the interior courtyard. This hotel did feel like you really were in Morocco. The rooms at this time of the year understandably were chilly on arrival but the heating needs to turned on as soon as you...
