This establishment is certainly situated in an excellent position for access to the beach, and also has lovely views, although they are better from upstairs. The room we had was very comfortable (No 3) and spacious, with modern furnishings and everything you need. The breakfast served was excellent, and we went out for dinner to the Transkaroo Restaurant at Groot...

I booked this guest house in July 2016 along with the other guest houses for our trip by reviewing trip advisor and other web sites. I can only say that this property stands with a beautiful view of the ocean but is not the grand guest house it perceives to be. The room we stayed in had a mixture of...

We stayed here in February & nearly got put off by one or two of the recent reviews - but we gave it a try & so glad we did .... As long as you have transport & you don't mind driving 10 minutes to most of the restaurants it is fine .... Yes you can see the oil tankers...

We were very pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. The bedroom/lounge is comfortable with a reasonable amount of space. The kitchenette/dining area is well equipped and more spacious than we had expected. Very usable and useful. The bathroom was big and luxurious with a bath and a big shower The breakfasts were astonishing. There was a 3 course breakfast available each...

This was a luxury self catering room on the beach in the middle of a residential housing estate in an industrial city. The nearest restaurants are 15 minutes drive away, but the receptionist very kindly collected a takeaway for us as our travel agent had wrongly advised us that there were restaurants within walking distance. If you want to stay...

We stayed in room no 4. it was a good sized room with a nice bathroom and a small balcony looking diagonally at the ocean. While the room was well furnished it contains too many fiddly decorative items. Breakfast was poor and catered mainly for guests wanting a cooked breakfast. Service was haphazard, a request for coffee needed to be...

We stayed in the villa, in a very spacious and comfortable room (no. 7). A huge bath with two basins, laaarge shower cabin and big bathtub. Room with access onto a large terrace shared with another room. Ocean view. The breakfast was very good (excellent muesli) although the staff liked to talk in the kitchen and was somewhat slow. The...

We stayed in a superiior room in The Villa. It was stunning, everything we hoped for and more. Doesn't look much from the outside but once you're inside it blows you away. Breakfast, which was divine, was served in the Manor by charming staff. A few steps down through the garden and you're on a beautiful stretch of beach. Wouldn't...

Great location, right on the beach. Rooms have a stunning sea view from the open stoep. Take a few steps down to the beach for a swim or a walk, then get into the plunge pool in the garden. Rooms and bathrooms are massive and just gorgeous. Breakfast is absolutely 5 star, freshly made to order and a sea view....
