    We stay here when they were having a residents special in October. It was the dry season, so the landscape was very dry and dusty, less animals, etc. Although there weren't many safari animals, there were still many things that made this trip so special....More

    This is really a special lodge! it is not in a National Park, but in a private conservation area, therefore called a ranch. The owner did a lot of effort to bring wildlife back to the former empty area and he definitely succeeded. Lots of...More

    I love coming here because you can walk. There is a lot of history too in the area. Ww1 occurred here too and trenches are still visible on the hills. stunning views accross to Kilimanjaro and mt meru too. Staff are lovely. Food is fresh!

    I don't know about bird walks, but they do have a full bar. And Frank the bartender (who is also the dining room host) is a terrific guy.

    It actually took us closer to 75 minutes. But as the other respondent noted, the ranch will make all of the arrangements. And even if you're arriving late at night, be prepared for them to have a full and delicious meal... More
