Had an amazing stay at TemboTamu! I only stayed one night on my way to a Kili climb but my experience was wonderful. Facilities we're very clean and and very private. Sandra's service was second to known and I truly felt at home instantly. She was extremely helpful in getting around the city and helping me prepare for my climb!...

Stayed here for 1 night but so relaxing it felt like a long weekend. My room was ensure and in he main house. It felt very private. Was welcomed at breakfast with a fantastic spread of fresh fruits, coffee, bread etc. I was the only guest so I didn't expect the same level of food etc as a larger group....

There are two things to note about this bed & breakfast: 1) if you're an American or if you have stayed at a bed & breakfast in America, this is not your typical b&b. It is not a historical home with antique furniture and fireplaces; and 2) This is not a five star hotel or even a two star hotel....

Sandra was the consummate hostess, providing comfortable accommodations and delicious meals, all for a very fair price. We worked out in advance with her our airport pick-up (unfortunately in the middle of the night), so we were aware of the surcharge. We enjoyed meeting her other guests, and dinner with everyone (very reasonable charge) was lots of fun. We were...

Tembotamu 20/1/2016 to 9/2/2016 This was our fourth visit to Tembotamu and staying with Sandra, Frank and Tony is one of the reasons we enjoy returning to Moshi so much. Sandra welcomes all her guests into the family home in a relaxed and informal atmosphere that invariably leads to good conversation on the main house veranda or at the dining...

Stayed in an outdoor tent with a nice area around. Sandra is super helpful, calm and patient! Arranged logistics from Arusha and also within Moshi area! Breakfast was great so if your looking for a B&B option, its definitely a good place! Also made sure the internet and bandwidth was up to mark for a call that I had to...

We had a very good experience thanks to Sandra and Frank - she really takes pride in her business and it shows as this is an excellent B&B. She was very accommodating in terms of laundry, arranging a SIM card for our phone over the weekend, our climb, and travel around Moshi. Food is excellent, as mentioned many times over...

Let me start by saying that now, after staying at Sandra's Tembotamu, I would not think of staying anywhere else in Moshi. Clichee apart, this is truly a home away from home and it's all Sandra's merit. She manages somehow to make her house your house and in no time you feel like you're a member of the family, looking...

Sandra is great and has a lovely place. Helpful with trip planning. However, need to watch out for costs that aren't fully discussed. Eg. They complete "equipment checks" before your Kili trek and will offer some rental equipment for extra charge. Most of the time I found this equipment not to be necessary. Sandra will tell you that your international...

Thanks for your review and thanks for the complements about our B&B. It was great having your group stay with us and we congratulate on your success with reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro. In response to your comments about hidden costs I would like to make these points to help clarify the situation: • In our booking and payment conditions,...

We travelled from Johannesburg to Tanzania on Fastjet because it offered us the cheapest air fare for our family of four., Our first destination was always Zanzibar but when we discovered Fastjet had easy access flights to Moshi we finally learnt how possible and easy it is for South Africans to get to Kilimanjaro without been in an initial package...
