I stayed at Mountain Inn as a solo female traveling in Moshi for a weekend in October 2016. I live in Tanzania, so for Tanzanian hotels, this was nice...I'd return. The winning sell of this establishment is definitely the staff- incredibly friendly and hospitable...Tio and Rose were exceptional. The outdoor restaurant is cozy and the food was good- not the...

We were in mountain inn for 1 night (before our klimanjaro hiking). The staffs were very friendly and nice. Design of the rooms and restaurant was beautiful. They have kept our lauggage in the hiking period and it was so useful for us. Also its restaurant had very delicious foods.

As many others have already said, the reception was very friendly and welcoming. We were passing through on our way back to Dar and it was a good choice for the price. The rooms are basic with some decorations, some have TVs others don't and the size and number of beds you get is random. The bathrooms aren't designed well...

This was was first day in the hotel and beginning of our tour. Here only good thing we found the staffs are really good & helpful too. This hotel has lot of potential to improve but its not been managed properly. Lets start with washroom , very much outdated and untidy . Sinks and hot water was not working. Then on...

It's nice that Shah Tours (who own the Mountain Inn) can do it all - they picked us up from the airport; own the hotel (Mountain Inn, Moshi) that we stayed at prior to the safari, Kilimanjaro trek, and before flying home - which We stayed at the Mountain Inn since we booked a safari and Kilimanjaro trek through Shah...

I'm afraid that this hotel is worth avoiding - especially as there is an equally priced alternative a 15-minute walk down the road, which is superior in every possible way. Unfortunately it was full and we were the overspill! The Mountain Inn is too close to the main highway for restful sleep. The beds were comfortable but the rooms were...

My brother and I spent a few days at this hotel after summiting Kili. We were highly satisfied with the staff (spoke good English and were eager to help), food (wonderful Indian food served at the restaurant), scenery of the property, and the HOT shower!! The only drawback we found was the hotel's slight distance from the center of the...

If you just need a place to catch up and get ready for the next destination, this hotel will suit your purpose. Other than that, it is just an average hotel. It is quite close to the main road, so can be noisy.

This hotel is very, very nice. The grounds are park-like. You can see Kilimanjaro from the garden. The waitresses in the restaurant were really attentive. The food was remarkably good and inexpensive. The beer (Kilimanjaro beer) was quite good. The rooms were large and comfortable. There was Wi-Fi in the restaurant. The front desk was very responsive. They did a...
