We stayed at plantation lodge for 2 nights during our safari trip. The property is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are stunning. The food was great and there was always so much of it. The view from the terrace made it the perfect place to have cocktails and snacks in the evening. The staff are great at plantation lodge and...

After a few days on Safari in Kenya, we began our Tanzania safari with Plantation Lodge (PL) as our base for 3 nights. We arrived after dark, and were welcomed by the PL team and taken to the delightful accommodation that would be our home for a few days. The room was beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. After settling in...

This is really a top flight establishment! We were pleasantly surprised to enter the lavish grounds (welcomed by hot towels and cold drinks, no less) after turning down an unmarked dirt road between roadside shanties on the road to Ngorongoro. Bowled over is probably a better word! The house a really beautiful, open, almost Spanish-style building, and rooms are scattered...

After a dusty safari, there is no better place to relaxe for a day or two then here. Perfect location, beatifull rooms, bar, restaurant, garden and what a stunning view from the pool! The only minor point ( in my opinion) is the typical english menu, no Tanzania dishes here...

The lodges are just amazing. Trendy furbished and the grounds are Nice looking. We were a larger Group going on a safari so did not stay at the hotel long. Had a cool party in the bar and enjoyed a good meal in their big room. Staff were cool and let us play Our own Music. Soon we were all...

I was really surprised to see that some people rated Plantation Lodge as average, when in fact, it's absolutely beautiful! We stayed in Plantation Lodge to do game drives in Tarangire National Park and in Ngorogoro Crater. I was pleasantly surprised when arriving, as the photos don't really do the place justice. I travelled with my husband and mom, and...

The room was large and comfortable and the local staff were very friendly and caring. But we were made to feel unwelcome by the manager and family, who never bothered to even greet us. They had a private family party, which filled all but a few guest rooms, occupied the staff to the exclusion of the paying travellers and played...

Renata, Frumence, Maria and Juma, I can only say Asante sana (thank you) from the bottom of my heart!!! I was in a bind with a safari group and you helped to smooth the way by opening up rooms at short notice. They were lovely luxury as usual and I so appreciate the hospitality you give over and over again....

I truly regret that I only got to spend one night at Plantation Lodge in between trips to Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The food - both breakfast and the barbecue for dinner - we're excellent. Great quality and variety and beautifully presented. And then I had this beautiful suite named Oldupai. The only flaw is that I didn't get to spend...
