I too had booked for a 3 days stay during May 2020 and I mad the booking during Feb/Mar 2020. But due to Covid19 and in view of the travel restrictions imposed by the Government of TN, the trip could not be undertaken. Sufficiently in advance I had called Yatri Nivas over the phone conveyed the message and sought refund of booking amount followed by various emails to all concerned. But so far no one has bothered to respond and the booking amount is also not refunded. I don't understand as to why I should be penalised for cancellation, which was beyond my control

We had booked AC rooms for 2 days in March 2020 for our stay in Yatri Nivas Srirangam for the sole purpose of visiting temple and having darshan of Lord Ranganatha .But unfortunately covid 19 struck and all our plans went awry. But inspite of repeated pleas the temple administration has not bothered to refund the charges paid in advance (till date) though no service was provided.

Excellent ambience, neat and tidy. When any one goes to Srirangam it is best place for accomodation. We can book online in advance. The taste of food in canteen is also nice. You can get auto's to visit all places in srirangam in main entrance.

Worst place to stay, people planning to stay here please don't go for just look. 1) No proper facilities, when asked for drinking water they filled bottle from gardening water and gave in front of my eyes also got comments that if you don't want to drink then buy it from inside canteen just for their business purposes. 2) internal canteen staff's behaviour is worst except 1 or 2 person. They don't even wait for seeing the menu for ordering and started scolding saying why you want to see the menu. 3) reception staff is worst. No respect,just money minded and did not provide proper facilities.
People my humble request to all please better to stay in some hotel instead of staying here.🙏

Very good accommodation with good facilities and cleanliness Very good office staff , very cordial and helping nature, very much worth to stay here. Very good canteen is available from 05.00 am to 22.00 hrs. I personally recommend this is the best place to stay during Srirangam and Trichy programmes. Auto's and cabs always available. Just few meeters away is Sri.Kaveri river (kollidam) 👌👌🤝🤝

Terrible place for a meal. Food was salty and practically un eatable. If any taxi drivers recommend this place reject it. They get commission for bringing you there. We ordered the south and North Indian tali food and regret it. Force ourselves to finish as we don’t want to waste food.

The building is located 1km from the ranganathar temple. There are 1000 beds in this yatri nivas which is of all mixed. There is an online reservation system wherein we can book the rooms through online. The rooms are really excellent and well maintained by the devasthanam. There is also an restaurant at the entrance of the building called Sri Ranga vilas. Wow the food is so delicious and hygienic.

It was excellent stay at Yatri Nivas Srirangam, Went with family by train from chennai, from srirangam station Rs. 60/- auto fare to reach yatri nivas. Auto drivers behaviors also good, still you can bargain the fare but they ask almost resonable fare. From yatri nivas around 2km away Ranganathaswamy temple auto fare Rs. 60/-. From yatri nivas 10 seater bus facility available for temple visit. Rooms and full resort are very nice clean and well maintained. RO drinking water available but you need to take it from common place inside the every building. There is a veg restraurant in yatri nivas, you can have very good quality authentic south indian test food, evening snacks, tea coffe etc. There is a ATM and general store in sied the resort. Check in, check out facility & systems are very easy and all the staff are friedly.

Yathri Nivas - Srirangam near to Srirangam Main Temple. Travel by car from this cottage will take just 5 mins drive to Temple. Family members please try to visit the temple after breakfast from the restaurant at the cottage which is delicious and plan to visit at 9:30 am which is quite useful for Darshan without crowd.

Recently in the month of September, we visited Trichy. We heard that Yatri Nivas at Srirangam is good to stay. We booked, on line, One cottage (4 beds), and One AC room ( 2 Beds) for two days.
We reached Yatri Nivas on 21st Morning from Madurai at around 10.00 AM. We were very pleased to see the beautiful red coloured buildings of Yatri Nivas. The first impression, after seeing Yatri Nivas was pleasant and heart touching.
As per our pre-booking, we were allotted the rooms and we checked in. What a lovely rooms and atmosphere. The ambience is extremely good. Neatly maintained parks, rooms and the total area gave us full satisfaction.
Yatri Nivas has a restaurant at the entrance. This restaurant is open from 6.00 AM on wards, serving Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Food here is tasty.
Yatri Nivas has Cottages, AC and Non Ac rooms and also Dormitory rooms of 12,14 and 16 beds. They are all well maintained and reasonably priced. Stay during the night is very attractive.
The Temple of Sree Ranganatha Swamy is located at a distance of about 2 Kms from yatri Nivas. Autos are available. Yatri Nivas also runs a Mini Bus in the morning and evening to the temple and back, They charge Rs.10/ per head per trip.
Yatri Nivas, though far off from the city of Trichy, is a quiet place. One can book rooms online 3 days to 90 days prior to their arrival. We enjoyed our two days stay at Yatri Nivas and we also decided to stay here, whenever we come to Srirangam.
