Was worried with the drive to the hotel....very narrow, bumpy road through rice fields...my fear was the road reflected the hotel at the end of the road.....definitely not the case. Resort is very remote, but the setting is just stunning. Spent one night prior to climbing Mt Ijen and if had known more about the resort, would have stayed longer...

You'll never find the view like this in Banyuwangi, In the front is the large ricefield, and the very clearly mountain in front of the pool. Also enjoy the walking trip in forest. You can ask the front office for more interesting activity in Ijen Resort and Villas. The VIEW IS DOPE!!!

We spent three night at Ijen Resort as a family. The resort is well positioned to explore the area and climb Ijen. The hotel itself is looking a little tired. The room are clean, but looking worn. It has the feeling of having seen better days. However, we were given a free upgrade, which was appreciated. The room is not...

Set out in the middle of a remote area, this visual oasis is impressive. We spent one night prior to climbing Mt. Ijen and in hindsight wish we had stayed a few more nights rather than traveling on to touristy Bali. Our room overlooked terraced rice paddies, the service was impeccable and the food delicious. There are a few minor...

Set in beautiful gardens amid ricefields, with mountain backdrop, the location is idyllic. Lovely big rooms, all separate from main facilities, with unusual feature of toilet and shower outside (though perfectly private). Nice open air restaurant and pool. Friendly staff. The only downside is that access is via a long unmade road, a bit of a boneshaker. Though It was...

The hotel ambiance and views were stunning! The room has wonderful beds with soft pillows, allowing a good rest. The shower was good and had hot water. When I was getting heady to sleep I was surprised by a mice coming down from inside the wardrobe. Try to chase it with my eyes, then when looked under the table I...

We really enjoyed the view, and the rooms are perfectly comfortable. The hotel really let us down with arranging transportation, they sent a driver who could not communicate drive time, or when we would eat, really he/the hotel provided no information at all in regards to the travel. What was supposed to be a 5-6 hour drive turned into 10-11....

Our first impressions were very good after the rough and narrow road. The hotel has all amenities a balcony and fridge with beer and coke. There were limited plug sockets for recharging batteries. The outside toilet and shower took a bit of getting used too so was querky. but there was some cover so you did not get wet when it...

The view of the paddy fields and surrounding countryside from the swimming pool is absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is very comfortable, clean and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Food was good, although I think we would have preferred a few more authentic and spicier dishes on the menu. Access to the hotel is along a very bumpy...

The hotel has a fantastic location: surrounded by paddy fields at the end of a (bumpy) track. It is really peaceful and the grounds are beautiful. There is also a small pool. The accommodation is of a reasonable standard but the walls are thin, or our neighbours were loud! You will have to sit in the reception area or restaurant...
