In Rantepao we stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Pia's Poppies. Nice place to stay, friendly and helpfull staff. Unfortunately not always hot water when taking a shower. Quality of food is very good, prices are a bit high.

The staff at the Pias Poppies were all very kind and helpful. (We had a chance to meet the owner and talk with him at length.) The dining room was quaint, and the breakfast was good. We had one dinner there, and that food was good as well. Our room was good sized, but lacked a fan or any comfortable...

We stayed here for three nights. The place has a very good restaurant inside with the best Indonesian food. The price for the food and the rooms are a little higher than in the rest of town, but it was worth it. The hotel has good relations with the guides in town, so a tour is easily fixed.

The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us to book a private car and knowledgeable driver for affordable price. They also have very nice restaurant offering mix of toraja dishes and indonesian dishes. They allowed us to check in early in the morning without additional cost. They prepared breakfast for us at 4am in the morning when we...

The women who work here try very hard and work very long hours. I assume they have little if any training. The rooms were clean and the girls tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The meal service is very, VERY slow. Dinner much more so than breakfast. We ate one main meal here and then tried the...

We stayed for 3 nights, and was quite happy with the spacious rolms with a good shower. Price 180.000 a night (not included breakfast). There is no AC/fan in the rooms, so it can get quite warm for your afternoon nap. Temperature during the night is better. As the friendly friendly staff seems to have no training in the restaurant...

This place has wonderful owners and happy staff who love working there. It is also a good place to connect up with guides. The food is quite good. There is a lovely atmospheric garden. What I really, really liked was that I could smoke anywhere including at dinner. Ashtrays are provided everywhere. The wildlife comes to you here. Giant frogs...

We had a room in the new building and what you get for your money is just great! It's still Rantepao and options aren't plenty, so it remains a really good choice. But, there are some buts: if you wanna eat at night reserve a table at breakfast time!!! It's hopelessly overbooked in the evening and the menu is limited....

I spend one night in this hotel and it was very nice staying. I arrived at 9 am and I direct received the key of my room. The room is clean, spacious and the bed is very confortable. That's true we can hear some chicken in the morning but it's very supportable and it's possible to have a nice sleep...

The rooms in this hotel are nice and clean. Personnel is friendly and the food is good! Big Bintang only 30.000 IR. Be prepared: you'll be waked up by many many roosters early in the morning. In addition, the wifi doesn't work most of the time. My boyfriend and I had no access for 2 days and this was the...
