We stayed here during our trip in Toraja. The room is quite spacious althought it's very basic without AC. You can get the aircon room with 70-100k IDR price difference. The hot water in the shower didn't work and the water was dirty when the first time we used it.

This hotelis definitely worth to stay at least because of the owner Elli, who will help you with everything in Toraja: organise bus to Ampana, find guides around Rantepao, suggests with drivers, ojeks, coffee, local food. We love Elli and Pison Hotel!

The hotel is very quite and peace. Standard room is very neat and clean. But the toilet flush was not working, and water flow was small at shower. The food was very affordable and delicious. This hotel is recommended for budget traveler in north Toraja.

The bus drops you right outside the hotel, which is useful if its raining and late. The hotel is next to a small church and you can hear singing some mornings. The room was clean and a good size, the water was hot. Right outside the hotel on the main road is a very helpful tourist information office. The only...

We stayed here during December. Because it was almost christmas all the homestays were booked or filled with family of the owners. Hotel Pison was almost empty and we booked a room here. We negotiated a cheaper price because of the low season. It was cheap compared to other hotels we stayed. The room was very basic and had clean...

We stayed during Christmas for 4 nights. It is a pleasant place which I'm sure would have been more enjoyable for us if the family were not preoccupied with their Christmas celebrations. The thing I enjoyed most was the coffee... excellent coffee. Also, the location is quiter than the other centrally located hotels. However, we had a few annoyances; The...

I liked everything about this hotel. My room was comfortable, clean, with a proper bathroom. There is a good breakfast menu with a choice of food that you could also have in Europe (beyond banana pancake, toast, egg and rice). Although the hotel is not very central, but in ten minutes you can walk to the market or to the...

Pison is a nice and afordable base for exploring Toraja. The family that runs the place is friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is not included in the roomprice, but is available for some extra idr. It is outside the town centre in a quiet alley and away from the tourist restaurants, but a ride with a becak is cheap. If you're...

The rooms listed on Agoda are the ones with hot water. If you don’t care about having hot water, you can get a cheaper room booked directly with them or by emailing them. The trouble with emailing them is that it took weeks to get any response from someone and the rate I was quoted was IDR 150k (I assume...

Friendly and helpful hotel with pleasant staff. Rooms are basic and older so choose your room carefully. Not the place if you want luxury. My first room had no shower and a broken toilet!! But they changed my room without fuss. Good wifi but quite a few mosquitoes. Breakfasts are excellent and the best choice coffee in town. Avoid Agoda...
