I love travelling with my family. We usually go on a long drive every other weekend. Like usual we (me and my family) went on a long drive to Dhulikhel on Christmas day. Spending time with the family and admiring the surrounding is one of the most important moment for a working mother like me. As I was familiar with...

The reviews for Mirabel are all over the place which should serve as a cautionary note. Clearly results may vary and maybe you'll have an amazing experience. Here's why ours wasn't. Selected by our travel company, the Mirabel Resort is set back from the main highway and gives way to series of buildings on a nice piece of land. There...

The deluxe rooms are located on the cliff, offering a breathtaking view. Each room offers privacy of overlooking a thick lush green forest. Sipping a cup of coffee listening to the chirping birds is most relaxing activity. The rooms are tastefully decorated offering comfortable stay. The staff is very helpful and cordial. Very nice and cosy rooms. It was almost everything very clean, except the shower curtain (moldy) and the napkins at the restaurant. The rooftop terrace provides a great view on the himalaya. Also the deluxe rooms in the back end oft the area have great views. All in all a very nice hotel, only the restaurant was a bit cold...

Situated on a ridge at Dhulikhel, half an hour away from KTM Airport, with a vast garden around, Mirabel offers very nice rooms, most of them with view to Langtang, Jugal and Rolwaling Himalaya. The garden Restaurant and the Dining hall offer a very attractive menu. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Okay food but overpriced. Cozy rooms have no heaters, so too cold in winter. However, they do have hot water in the bathroom. On the other hand, Deluxe rooms have AC/heaters but not so useful during power outages. They don't have hot water in the bathroom. Dhulikhel is not so fun in the winter. So,...

Being a Nepali, i just can't digest the fact that two very basic dishes can add up to 1500 nepali rupees! The restaurant is well maintained and the views from the property are great. It is a luxurious escape from the city hustle.

Having recently arrived in Kathmandu where I'll be for a few years, I came here looking for somewhere peaceful and pretty to escape to at weekends. I stayed in one of the deluxe rooms. There are views out over rolling green hills and while I didn't see the mountains, when the sky is clear you can see those as well....

We spend in this place only one day, but we won't forget it for a long time! View on himalayas and hotel garden was breathtaking. To top it service was more than good, hotel manager organized for us very cheap taxi with guide to help us with the rest of the trip. For sure we are coming back :)
