1. Dirty super old towel and linens and bed sheet 2. Breakfast - old bread, old cereals served with hot powdered milk and you need to wash your dishes we forgot to wash a small saucer and the old lady who keep on sleeping in the hostel reception got angry and arrogant to us. 3. They told us complain that the washroom door beocme wet - we told them you need to pur rag in the washroom doorstep 3. The hostel closes at 10pm 4. Price is cheap at around 1,200 pesos per night but still there are many places in tagaytay that has the same rates for a hostel 5. The person in charge is not accommodating especially the old arrogant lady. 6. They should not use the reception area to sleep as somehow its a sore eye to the incoming guests upon entry in the vicinity.

I have never before in my entire life seen the same ammount of mold in one room. It seemed as if the owners chose to decorate the walls with it in stead of paint. Room, bathroom and bed were all dirty. By some higher power i made it through the night alive, but I fear i might have cut off 10 years of my life expectancy by sleeping there. Worst hotel/hostel through our one month travel in the otherwise lovely philippines.

This place is in the heart of Tagaytay, it is so near the road and restaurants. It is very convenient to stay here. It's just that it's very silent and can become kind of scary during the night. But the room is okay, staff is okay, overall the place is one of a kind hostel in Tagaytay.

Stayed for a night with friends. We reserved the Ensuite room with private t&b. The place is really quiet and we had a great night's rest. Everything is basic and simple. Bed, bedsheets and towels are clean. Bathroom floor is also clean. My friends and I decided to go back to this place, their staff are so friendly and the location is just a few meters walk to our favorite place Rowena's Cafe inside the Cliffhouse area and the Charito by Bag of Beans. Location: Just across The Cliffhouse and the Lake. This is about 1-2 blocks away from Magallanes Drive. If you're coming from the Tagaytay jeepney terminal/Market, take any jeep going to Sky Ranch or will pass by the Cliffhouse. Tell driver to drop you off Maharlika St or in front of The Lake. OMP (our Melting Pot) is tucked inside a quiet village/street of Maharlika. You'll have to walk a few meters from the main Highway to the Hostel. can be easily located because they are situated around the corner of the street - light blue color house. Accommodation: We stayed in a room with private room. Double bed with an extra bed for 350. To be honest, we just slept on the double bed because it's huge enough for just 2. Towels are provided. No soap/toothpaste/shampoo but they provide tissue in the bathroom. Breakfast is included in the room rate - which is surprising because it's cheap enough as it is. Breakfast is better than any other backpacker's hostel I've been to (even hostels from other countries)- they offer bread, coffee and your choice of spread (peanut butter, cheese, coco jam) and oatmeal. Price: Room with private bathroom is 1,050 and additional person for 350. Total of 1400 for 3 people so basically paid 470/per person (breakfast included) . Staff: They are accommodating and friendly. They are also helpful in locating certain sights/restaurants in Tagaytay. Will help as much as they can. One of the reasons we want to go back here. :) If you're a comfort traveller expecting a luxurious place to stay or if you don't like walking a lot, don't stay here. Your expectations should match the price you're paying. For a night stay with breakfast below 500, I think this is an awesome deal. :)

Travel: Solo Date: February 2017. 1 night. Shared room. Room: Clean, includes wi-fi. Didn't have any problem with the wi-fi. The beds have curtains so it kinda adds some privacy. Staff: friendly Location: you have to take the jeepneeys to the main attractions like Picnic grove and if you wanna hike Taal Volcano, do it in the morning.

We stayed here for a couple days last March 2015 and had a peaceful and wonderful sleep. This is a cheap accommodation compared to other hotels or hostels in Tagaytay so I totally recommend it to backpackers on a tight budget. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating, you will just feel as if you are at home. I also recommend it to those wanting to stay for months or longer in Tagaytay, I believe they have a good deal when it comes to long term occupancy.

we stayed there for 2 nights. the place is good for backpackers. there was no aircon, only fan. rest rooms are shared with other tenants. Staff are nice and accomodating. Place is good enough for the price since it is cheap. Breakfast is just bread (pandesal) so dont expect much.

Satisfactory: *very affordable considering breakfast is included. *good location, accessible to public transportation and resto Unsatisfactory: *Room: -> our room smelled dusty (especially in the closet). We had to ask for cleaning stuffs and disinfectant. Too bad, my sis has an allergy. When we asked to be transferred, the staff said, upstairs was "private", only to realize the next day there were other guests staying there, as well. -> the bed doesn't look inviting; the sheets, pillows looked overused. -> the curtains were worn out too and weren't coordinated. *Breakfast : -> continental breakfast is good, but not everyday (atleast for us) *Staff: -> *staff are quite unwilling to help
