We kind of got lost when we were on the way to the guest house. Kuya tricycle driver doesn't know the place but thankfully, someone from the barangay helped us. The place has a "homey" feel in it. The room is clean and spacious plus the breakfast is good. Will stay there if I come back to Legazpi again.

This place was so homey, I never felt that I was on vacation during the time of our stay here. And that's a compliment! Very affordable and plus points for being near the airport. You also get free breakfast, although for lunch and dinner I think you'd have to order outside - i'm not sure if they offer those, but...

Balai Tinai offers value for the travellers money. I stayed at the attic which is more than spacious for a solo traveller. It is actually suited for a family but was vacant when i visited. -nice view of Mayon volcano from the deck adjacent to the family room - Jerson, the lone staff when i was there was friendly and...

Had a 2 day stay in this place when we were in Legazpi City. Very accessible to any type of transportation and some restaurants are walk-able from this place. Its a 20min ride from the airport and they also have a separate tour rate for Legazpi (did not avail since we can commute naman). Very accommodating staff and feels like...

I went with a group of friends for our Bicol vacation and booked through a tour company but we are so glad to be booked here at Balay Tinay. The owner is very nice and accommodating and the place has a nice cozy vibe. We occupied 2 rooms here, one was on the main floor and had a double decker...

We stayed here overnight after a day long travel around Sorsogon before we journey onward back to Manila. The host is friendly and accommodating. Rooms, linens and toilet & bath w/ hot shower are clean. The breakfast is simple but nice to have. There is an open space in front of the property to park your car. Kinda difficult to...

My best economical find in Bicol. Just a 5-10 minute tricycle ride from the airport. Walking distance from the cathedral, Small Talk cafe, Bob Marlin resto, grocery, etc. Owner was very friendly, buffet breakfast. It's a fusion of old, rustic & modern house. They gave us the attic room which gave us unobstructed view of Mayon while lulling in the...

I booked my reservation over the phone. Was able to talk to the owner Monday, to book my stay for the coming Friday and Saturday night. He confirmed my booking and since I am staying alone, he even said that he will give me a discount which I thought was really nice. I also sent an sms, and again he...

So the main reason why I stayed here was because a friend of mine recommended this hotel. She said the hotel was unique, affordable and had a strategic location in terms of the scenic spots (heck its smack right in the center of the city). Well everything my friend mentioned is true. The place though a few minutes (3 -...
