Near a nice little town square. Made friends with little handicapped homeless guy around the corner. Brought him leftovers from restaurant & few pesos. He was very thankful, as was an older lady with her granddaughter. Food & pesos very helpful to them . Not a crime area, just inner city. Enjoyed the stay. Stayed December 2017 for @10 days.

The only good thing on this hotel was the room was spacious and the standard bed can be fit by two persons. The location was also in downtown very accessible to all establishments you may dine and unwind at the lower ground of this hotel many resto bar to choose from. They gave you free stab so you may use it on selected resto bar at the ground floor of this hotel. BUT I have noticed many flaws during on my 3 nights stayed here. -NO WIFI during on my 3 nights stayed here! (Imagine how may I able to access all of my emails) - No complementary water and soap! - Smelly Room! - Guest Restroom at the Lobby was horrible! UNTIDY!!! Please clean it up! - Service Bad! I was requesting to borrow a scissors because I have shop some clothes and I want to remove all the tags all hotels that I have stayed whether 5, 3 or 2 stars they lend me but this hotel refuse to lend it to me. - you may noticed some dirts in the restroom as well not properly clean! If they will improve those what I have said above maybe I can give them at least a 3 stars. …

I stayed for more than 20 days and overall, I'm happy! However, as usual, these are my observations: Pros: 1. It's close to everywhere! Just step outside and you'll see taxis and jeeps waiting and of course, motorella! :) 2. The room I booked was spacious. Pillows are just right. 3. Staff members are very polite, cheerful and kind. 4. They have a bidet!!! Yey! 5. Wi-fi's good at night and early morning. I get about 50ish download speed. :) 6. There are two elevators you can use. Only one functions from 10/11pm - 7am. 7. Their snack, water, etc aren't that pricey. Just right! 8. Just walk around the next blocks and you'll find lots of places to eat. 9. There's Chingketea and it's included in your daily coupon. Cons: 1. I don't know if it's happening with other rooms but my bathroom really smells! I literally have to cover the sink because I feel like that's where it was coming from. 2. They need to buy new towels, seriously. I know it's clean but there's this smell that won't go away from the old ones. You can tell it's old, trust me. 3. The ac in my room was acting up all the time. I didn't make a big fuss out of it because I'm not using it most of the time (because I'm out at work), besides, I don't want to transfer room anymore because my room is so accessible. The staff also said that it happens from time to time and I just need to unplug, plug it back in, turn it of or on. 4. I had to connect an HDMI device at the back of the TV and oh boy! It was dusty, swear! I hope when you clean the rooms, please clean everything!! 5. I left specific instructions on what to clean but, since I checked in and checked out, my bathroom (toilet, sink, shower) wasn't cleaned at all. 6. There's live band playing until 11PM. I can't sleep for the first few nights and I got used to it. 7. There are lots of people downstairs from afternoon to evening. Brace yourself! That means, you'll have to wait longer for the elevator. 8. I don't know if it's just my room but my keycard keeps on deactivating and I had to go back and forth the reception to get it working again. I'd still rated GC a good hotel despite the cons. I really hope there's improvement when I get back. …

Pros: -The room was very spacious. It was clean too. -The room temp. was just right. - The bed was comfortable. -If you are on a room without a window, you will not be able to know if its daytime already. So I overslept and that's good for a staycation 😊 -it's near restaurants, fastfoods, bars and coffee shops -easy access to malls (1 ride for commuters) CONS: -WiFi was very slow and the signal was very weak inside the room. I would have to go near the door to be able to connect. -hot shower was not hot at all :( -channels are very limited (not good for a staycation) -meals served by the restos as complimentary are not enough (but ok for snacks) you sometimes need to order additional food but its very pricey.. so overall, if the cons will be addressed I would definitely go back for a staycation :)…

We had a pleasant stay at GC Suites. The room was quite adequate, clean and spacious. Very easy access to shops. A free meal/voucher each day is helpful. Not enough parking for guests, though. Thanks GC Suites.

We visited Cagayan de Oro with the whole family, and this place made our stay worth while. Very clean, affordable and accessible however we had issues with the parking space, aside from that it was okay...

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel because it's located at the city center, where lots of food stores are located, near ATM machines, bars, etc. I had a great stay because the rooms are clean, staffs are approachable, and there's a free breakfast where you can choose a resto downstairs. One night, when the rains poured out very heavily, the ceiling leaked and water was dropping in my room. They transferred me to a much nicer room, a bigger one, without any additional charge. The room attendant was kind in helping me pack up my things for transfer.

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for twelve nights in May/June 2018 and would like t share my experience. The rooms were cleaned daily if you wanted this but this was more of a quick clean with several areas not cleaned especially by the bedside tables. The cleaners also came at different times each day. There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room and you had to order this from reception at a cost. They then delivered a cup of boiling water and a three in one coffee/sugar and cream sachet. The coupons provided for breakfast were a good idea as you could use them at several establishments at any time of day. There was a lot of noise staying in rooms on the fourth floor and watch out, there were ants in the room.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and good service. Great pillows. Nice free breakfast. You need to put a sign on your door otherwise your room wont be cleaned. Parking at front of hotel can be a long wait. Will stay there again.
