CYC+G ( 22.12.18 ) My family stayed this resort in 2 days. The resort was excellent to us with beautiful sea view, and the room was very good. We visited this resort in quiet time, so we felt calm and cozy. The location was very good at end of sea, so had good mood. The facilities and the service was good, and we were satisified in many merits.

Lotte Resort Sokcho is the top notch accommodation in the city with its superb location on top of a hill with three sides of the property having ocean views. We booked the pricier condo room that has a full kitchen and two bedrooms. With visits to restaurants being ill-advised during the pandemic, it was nice to be able to prepare all the food in the room while enjoying the comfort level of a higher end hotel. I probably don’t want to be there when it’s near full capacity as the elevator wait time was frustrating and the check-in process wasn’t all that efficient.

The Lotte Resort Sokcho is outstanding. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are efficient and very helpful. We spent the first part of our vacation at Lotte and it did not disappoint. Amazing!! We will be visiting again.

This hotel is beautifully sited. Every view is a feast for the eyes regardless of weather. The ocean view rooms over the pool are great choices if you like to sit and just watch the waves! We were visiting with a teenager who enjoyed her runs along the nearby beach. Lots going on there and an easy and pretty walk. The boardwalk that runs along the rocks below the resort was great fun; cool air and more gorgeous views. Lots of activities nearby including Seoraksan National Park and Naksansa Temple, the beaches at Yangyang-gun, lots to do. The Waterpark is great for kids but overpriced and you have to buy a ticket to get access to the infinity pool. Then, you also have to pay to use a chaise, as well. We thought this a bit much though we did spend a day by the pool and it was spectacular..but expensive. The pool doesn’t open until 10 am but only has full sun in the morning until about 3 pm so plan accordingly. I’d suggest the resort open the pool earlier since the sun disappears into the shade mid-afternoon. We loved our room but it would be nice if there were patio furniture so we didn’t have to drag chairs in and out! Overall an excellent stay. We will definitely visit again!

This hotel is beautifully located on a cliff overlooking at sokcho bay. It offers good rooms with sea view. The hotel also has a water park great for the kids. Unfortunately, we had a room wirh very noisy aircon... Besides that, it was a very good experience

Good location, nice and big rooms, there is water park inside the hotel BUT the breakfast is not so good for international guests ( mainly Korean style), the main activities in side the hotel you should pay for it like swimming pool, water park and also inside the park you should again pay for everything like life jacket and seats

I like the hotel architecture, the landscape and the location. The hotel serve beautiful view from the room, the lobby and the surround. The hotel location is up on the hill and far from everywhere. So we can enjoy the scenery , the lake, the forrest... The room is spacious, clean, and its meet the standar its hotel stars. The breakfast is ok. Standard asper its stars hotel. Eventough the hotel up on the hill, they have supermarket etc I defenetly will next bring my family to stay this hotel.

Do you see all those nice pictures of the infinity pool with no one actually in the pool? That's not an artistic choice. Thanks to Lotte and their restrictive policies and pricing, no one wants to use the pool. I went to a Lotte Water Park in Busan almost three years ago and should have known better (that experience was terrible as well). I really wish they would have better business practices and policies when it came to anything regarding water parks. As for the rooms, they are nice and very clean. I noticed that other people didn't have chairs for their balcony. I stayed in a condo room that had four chairs inside the room, so I just moved two chairs outside which worked well. At this time, I can't recommend this hotel. If Lotte changes their policy allowing for hotel guests to use free of charge, I will update my review. Even then though, this hotel has other issues that management needs to address.

we had a nice stay here, but it seems like it's not completely finished and ready for guests. It was fine, but it seemed to be short a dresser/bureau, and they only provided two towels. We could have gotten more, and they replaced them every day, but it just wasn't quite what one would expect at this new fancy resort. It was very sparse. There were no chairs out on the balcony so you couldn't enjoy the views. It also felt silly to be somewhere where we'd have to pay quite a bit to access the pool area. 25,000 won for a kid to go to the waterpark area seemed ridiculous when we were guests in the facility. So we didn't use it. My partner was disappointed there wasn't a pool he could use, for free, for lap swim. If I were to come back to Sokcho, I'd want to stay more in town. This had a nice board walk and wasn't too far from the southern harbor, but I didn't need to be so isolated. Sokcho is a great location to plan day trips to DMZ and to Seoraksan National Park!

It has a wonderful view! Clean and nice staffs. I don’t know why some people felt uncomfortable or unhappy, but my family really enjoyed our holiday here! If my friends are thinking of their place, I will recommend this hotel!
