An old hotel that'd seen better days. Basic amenities, large room, aircond without controls, small bath/toilet and old beds but what do you expect for THB 390 (Older rooms at the old block). There's a newer building behind with better amenities. Perfect location right in town and walking distance to everywhere, with large parking space. Life's fuller by keeping lower...

Rooms in this hotel are basic but clean and really big. Aircon was working fine. Hotel is in the heart of town, next to the scooter rental place. There can be some noise from the busy street nearby. You can find more friendly, customer oriented, cheaper hotels with quieter rooms around, but it's can be an ok place for a...

Right in the middle of Maesot is where you want to be and DK has the location and price. I took one of the newer rooms in the adjoining building for 450TBT and had a great stay. Easy walking to just about everything. No breakfast but free bananas and coffee downstairs in the foyer (get up early or you might...

I stayed here in October 2014, I have stayed before and the Hotel is nothing to write home abut it is cheap without being nasty. But this time I was surprised the management have put effort into making the place cleaner and tdier and the new annex out the back is great - Well done DK

We stayed there one night and it was not fun. First, they don't even let you control the A/C temperature. It is set at maybe 25 degrees Celsius--not even worth having it on. The bathroom was dinky small, the mattress was rock-hard and we could hear something like the bed being moved around ALL NIGHT in the room above us....

We stayed a couple of nights there and were surprised by the quality and good value for money of their rooms in the new small building adjacent to the main one (reception in the older and bigger building). For about one hundred and fifty baht extra, you get a clean, quiet and modern room further from the street tan the...

We stayed here recently on a recommendation and would not go again. It was cheap at B380/ night, but it was just not clean. The mat outside of the bathroom was filthy and the towels were stained. Bed sheets smelled smoky and the hallways were dark--the stained gray hallway carpets should have tipped us off to how bad the rooms...

I sprang for an air-con room for 450 baht. Still excellent value. The room was very large, with marble flooring, big windows and a small balcony. The two beds were a little soft, but better that than rock-hard. Sheets were a bit slick -- not natural fiber, for sure, but acceptable. Towels, on the other hand were large and seemed...

7 or 8 hours bus trip will take you to this little border town Mae Sot of Thailand and Burma. I might describe it as a little town, but it's quite busy from 3am, cause it's a bussines gate to Burma. I've visited this town for 4times and stayed at DK hotel 3times. This town has nothig much to visit,...

Dark halls and uninspiring rooms. God help you if they put you on the 3rd or 4th floor in this hotel with no elevator! Air con didn't work so well. Staff does not go out of their way to be friendly, but will serve you rather swiftly. Located in a noisy and so-so convenient part of town. I had to...

“The hotel does not have a elevator, so if you hate stairs, ask for the rooms on the second floor. They have also opend a brand new building at the back yard, so it is also good for staying there giving extra 50THB.”
