We visited Argovia Finca Resort last May with fellow cruise passengers on a full-day shore excursion. It really was a memorable day. First - the drive up through the lush, Mexican countryside with incredible views at every turn. Argovia Finca blends into this beautiful setting. We were toured around the coffee plantation and had a chance to see some of...

I took a day trip to Argovia from our cruise ship and since then it is on my fantasy list of places to return to. It took a little ride to get there but what a paradise it is. I have seen the exotic flowers from the fancy florist shop right there grown in the jungle. The plants and the...

My wife and I were on a cruise from Los Angeles to Miami and the Argovia Finca Resort was an optional tour. We were impressed by the knowledge of our tour guide, the coffee gowing and flower growing and especially the wonderful buffet luncheon served. If you are ever offered a tour of Argovia Finca Resort, take it. Excell ent...

We stayed at Finca Argovia for 3 days in October 2009. The experience was magnificent to say the least! All of the staff there were wonderful, including the manager, waiter, chef, and tour volunteer. They picked us up at the bus station in Tapachula and took us to their property, close to an hour drive through the mountains. What we...

One of the most beautiful places I'veever been at. You feel a connection with nature: you feel it, smell it, hear it, touch it... It's a must see of a life time. Very nice people, amazing food, excellent service, housing and hospitality. You learn about the process of making coffee, the growth of exotic plants, bird-watching. Hope to be back...

Last month due to special family circumstances I had to make a totally unplanned visit to Tapachula, a city located, at the most southern part of Mexico, in the State of Chiapas right on the border with Guatemala. A city that would have been the last place I would have thought of going to in Mexico, under normal circumstances, ether...

My wife and I stayed at the Argovia Finca Resort for about 6 days in June 2006 and truly enjoyed our stay in this exciting jungle-like wilderness with lush greenery as far as the eye can see . The cabins we stayed in where very cozy and clean and we had a great sight of the surrounding mountains. The hospitality...
