My husband and decided to stay at this resort in Juan Dolio Dominican Republic our first stay was September/2012 and we vowed then not to ever return. We were nervous going back this time but we were informed there had been some upgrades and it was recently opening back up from Pandemic and renovations. Some improvements have been done to the lobby area. The most shocking was the room there was a big difference from our first visit in 2012. The room was newly renovated a Tu ally they put us in the premium with two bathrooms and a living room. It was clean and the young lady that cleaned our room during our stay was the best. We always came back to a freshly cleaned room, towels and it smelled so good. The other room cleaners were not as great at their jobs. So I would always leave her a tip. The beach is my favorite part of vacationing and this time around it was not crowded we had days where it was just the two of us. The sellers on the beach can be a bit annoying after you buy from them their prices are getting higher and they tend to want to flock around you once you spend money with them. Other than that I enjoyed the water immensely. The pool was clean only one pool was re-opened at the time we were there but it was clean and frequented a lot by other guess and their children. Best part of the pool was the pool bar and a few particular staff members who interacted and made you feel very comfortable. They had a variety of foods in buffet style restaurant. The hibachi was ok I have stated better but it was fun. There is another restaurant on the premises but we were not too impressed by their menus. The whole reservation process is a fiasco that was actually better in 2012 not as much of a hassle as it was this time around.. we would get to the restaurant and they could not find our reservation. We had to complain to be able to get in. Very disorganized. Also in the buffet restaurant they still have stray cats going into the eating area where guess sit and eat. Some guess would feed the cats so they stay close by And management allows this. Be careful with the hamburgers at the grill area hubby did get sick from it and I believe another guess did as well. Overall even with the few annoying things we experienced during our stay it was definitely an improvement from 2012 when our stay was so horrible that pigeons were coming through our broken room windows. Back then it had such poor management that they just didn’t care. These new owners are doing better. There is room for improvement in the rooms as we did experience water leak in one of the bathroom from the unit above us. The glass showers doors need to be sealed at the bottom so that the water doesn’t come out when you take a shower. Otherwise your stepping out into a puddle in the bathrooms another annoying thing.

Our stay has been really Nice. The hotel is very accommodating with my needs and want. Administration was determined to make my wants a done deal. It was great. The bar and the animation staff made our stay ever more amazing. I would definitely bring my entire family and friends here again.

My family and I had a great stay at the Coral Costa Caribe in Juan Dolio. The buffets were the best we've ever had at resorts. The service was great, but the bartenders at the pool bar, Kelvis and Juan, really made us feel special during our stay. They make amazing drinks and always remember your name and what you like to drink! We're definitely coming back to have some drinks from these awesome bartenders while playing on the pristine private beach... absolutely loved it.

Amazing !!! Loved everyone! Kelvis & Juan were the best. The food was so good. The entertainment shows were so much fun. The resort was clean thoroughly every day. Loved it so much! So many more names that I didn’t mention but the staff are amazing! Loved all the dancers!

We came down from the United States for a weeklong baseball tournament. Upon arrival, it took 1.5 hours to check in as they only do a paper check in. When able to check in, we had 2 rooms, one of which when given room cards, upon entering in our room, there was already another family in the room. Had to go back to the desk and took another 45 min to an hour to get another room. This happened to multiple families that checked in for the tournament. For being an all inclusive resort for a week long baseball tournament, almost no one spoke English very well at the front desk. You had 3 options for food. Either go off resort on your own, the buffet restaurant, or the upstairs restaurant that requires a reservation the day before. Not once but twice they lost our reservation, and the third time we did them they cancelled everyone’s reservation without warning. The 5th day on the resort when we were finally able to go, we found that the food was very over cooked, under seasoned and just variations of what was downstairs in the buffet. The wait staff at the restaurant and the bartenders on resort were very nice. The pool closes at 6pm and their “show” meant for mainly smaller children started at 8:30. So after getting kicked out of the pool, you didn’t have many things to do at the resort besides eat dinner, drink, or go to sleep. On our 6th night the 2nd room in our reservation had an air conditioner problem where it started causing their ceiling to fall in from all the condensation. The hotels first resort was to turn their air off and take remote. Took some very unsatisfied guests to even get a new room at 10pm. When given a different room, the first room they were given had another couple sleeping in the room. The second room they were given was fine for about 20 min, but it took away access to their balcony, and their air conditioner kept getting an error code and wouldn’t work, so they had to go the night without cool air. There were 2 other couples in the baseball reservation that were switched multiple times and their air wouldn’t work and went multiple days without air conditioning. The first day we were there, the main elevator for the resort broke, leaving only 1 of the 2 elevators working. You never knew how long you would have to wait on the elevator, could be 2 min, could be 10 min. This problem was never fixed the entire 10 day stay we had. After the baseball tournament concluded, several families left that day to another hotel. Multiple families moved flights up to go back to the United States. When we came to Dominican Republic, we didn’t realize we would have to live like we were in a third world country. Positive Notes Manny and Maria in the concierge services were the only reason our stay was tolerable. Ordering food to the hotel and booking excursions made super easy. The bartenders for a few dollar tip would hook your drinks up. Resort was small enough that the beach, bars, pools, and rooms were all within walking distance.

The first room we were in the A/C did not work, they moved us to another room. Everything was great in that room. Rafael and Juan at the Pool Bar where excellent Bar tenders they remember you drink also very pleasant to deal with. *** The all you can eat and drink is phenomena the food is awesome*** The evening attractions were excellent as well.
