Hotel Cascata was a very affordable and comfortable option in Huehuetenango. It was not too far from the bus station and was in walking distance of the city square. this hotel is a bit old and has seen better days. Some of the rooms are small, but I had a very nice sized room. But there are some things that are really very good about the hotel, which are worthy of praise. First, the price is excellent. I paid around $12 USD for the room. Second, the hot water...

I was traveling with my team on a trainig for Tours Atitlan, and read some nice reccomendation about Cascata Hotel. The place is nice, the family who owns it are very kind and great host. If you are a solo traveler and are taking local transportation mainly this can be your place, all buses that goes to Mexico, Guatemala City...

I had seen their website and sought out the hotel upon arrival in Huehue. Unfortunately, it has not been maintained as shown in the website and I left after one night. My room was just bigger than a closet, no windows to the outside, poor ventilation, stuffy, and uncomfortable. Good price as in 110 Q but I could not stay...
