Detailed Reviews
It is a nice location on Lake Chicot and very woodsy… BUT…..
The roads coming to the park are TERRIBLE.
The roads inside the park are TERRIBLE.
Both I and the party we were traveling with had no power at the pedestal and had to wait for service.
The people who park there rigs there permanently have NO regard for the RULES.
Dogs running loose everywhere.
Dog crap in my lot that I had to pick up to finish setting up.
This INCLUDES the owners/office workers.
The guy beside me has a hose out in the courtyard behind us draining his stinking gray water.
Other than all that, I guess I recommended this park… just kidding!

We were looking for a peaceful stop for a couple of days and came across this county RV park. It is an old park that has seen better days but it is still a beautiful place. Campsites are well spaced with nice shade and good lake access. They even have a fishing pier. It's not a resort but it is a great getaway to relax. Recommend.

Terrible roads not well maintained Cable hook up broken & water was shut off at 8:00 am Manager & wife not friendly...acted like we were doing them a favor by staying there! Was only $25 but in my opinion too much! We were in a group of 3 motor homes and were lucky to get 50 amps

This place is nice if you don't have to use the Bathhouse or Bathrooms. Spider webs all in Shower house, with poor lighting, only two showers would work and one would not stay on for more than 4 seconds and Bathrooms are not all that much better, they look like no one ever cleans them. If you don't have to use them and can use the ones in your camper this is a nice campground if you can't get in the State Park, or need an extended stay. We stayed in a popup camper and needed the Shower house. The fishing was great and the boat ramp was convenient to the camp sites. Wind blows a lot here can get scary at time.
