Bayou Fabulous hotel. Highly recommended. No lack of parking space. Very clean and modern. Room and toile are both very spacious. We have a nice pool and greenery view. Reception and lounge area very bright and spacious. Maybe they could play some music??? Breakfast comes with wide selection and also restaurant is very clean. Love every single staff in this hotel. So cheerful and well-groomed. Will come back if I'm back in langkawi!

I really enjoyed my stay here, it is a very friendly chilled hotel. Nice and clean. Pool area is great, although most days it can be a fight to get a sun lounger. Staff are friendly and helpful. Central location, so easy to get around. Complimentary snacks in the room, popcorn to help yourself to in the bar and a drink coupon all a nice touch that we wasn't expecting. Highly recommend a stay here.

I think, the main word describing the hotel is 'decent'. Not very big but clean and decent rooms, decent breakfasts, decent interiors, decent price. A really great value. The property looks either new or recently renovated, everything is modern and super clean. The pool area is lovely, very well-kept and the view is superb. The prices in the bar are very reasonable too. The staff and service are immaculate, all the boys and girls doing amazing job. The location is also a gem: 10 min drive from the airport, 5-7 min walk from the Chenang Beach and Chenang Walking Street. A few local eateries with local prices around is a big advantage too. I personally consider the place one of the best affordable hotels in Langkawi at the moment and highly recommend!

Absolutely excellent stay. Understated but stylish and spotlessly clean, with kind friendly enthusiastic staff at every turn. Lovely and ample breakfast buffet. Good all day bar. Nice everyday cafe style menu for lunches. But best of all, is the simple but stunning pool, the setting is awesome! This is great value for money and having visited several hotels in the area, by far the best! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Chose this hotel based on other guests reviews and was pleased I did. Located a short walk or taxi ride away from the beach areas and shops it was nice to be able to walk back to the hotel throughout the day or in the evenings to the tranquil setting. Was greeted by hotel staff upon arrival and checked in and was provide with a welcome drink from the bar. The lobby area of the hotel includes different areas of seating near the bar area and an adjoining area that serves breakfast daily. A lift up to the rooms, that appear to have been renovated. The large room included the separate room containing the large en-suite bathroom. The room had blackout curtains, individual air conditioning with separate remote, mini fridge , electronic safe television, a small desk and chair, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary daily bottled water. The large bed was comfortable and the room I was in had could be used as an adjoining room for family or groups of friends. I did not have any problems with noise from the adjoining room or from the outside of the hotel during my stay. The en-suite bathroom had a large walk-in shower, plenty of space and some complimentary toiletries. A hairdryer is also located in the bedroom area. The breakfast available in the mornings had a good selection of cereal, breads , pastries, freshly cooked omelettes and other foods and juices and tea, coffee and water. The pool area overlooks a nice rural setting and has plenty of areas to sit back or lay down and relax. The staff from reception, food and beverage and housekeeping were always happy to assist with any request or enquiry and are well trained in customer service. The stay in this hotel and its location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk into the town centre was an excellent decision.

We totally loved this hotel! Everything is perfect! From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and friendly.. nothing is too much trouble! The pool area is fab and the bar drinks and food are so reasonable. We would definitely come back to this hotel... there is nothing we could find fault with!

The bayou hotel was a great find. We were extremely happy with the ‘resort vibe’ the hotel has created, with its nice pool, deck chairs overlooking a beautiful vista of greenery, and the relaxed feel around the foyer/pool area. The breakfast was a great spread and the rooms were clean and a suitable size. There are places to eat very close, and it’s a short walk into town. This was exactly what we were after and we were not disappointed!

Service, amenities, food and staff were excellent. Genuinely surprised and happy with the whole experience. Reviews commented on pool depth, yes it is no lap pool however it was relaxing and exceptionally cool and maintained. No complaints here. Great value and location.

The best way to describe this hotel is, a 3-star hotel with a 4-5 star resort personality and quality :) While searching online prior to booking, I found that it is 3-star and boutique level (I have learned in the past during my few stays in LGK, 3-star on actual site is often actually 2-star and less) which admittedly, already sealed my expectations but I was banking on it being revamped and newly launched few months ago so worth a check-out. While the front facade is newly painted and looks like a shop lot converted hotel, my oh my, the moment you enter the Reception area, everything is so well designed and nowhere near its first impression - and the Bayou was definitely being sneaky on me with its amazing pool backyard view! Room was great and as aesthetically pleasing as advertised, breakfast was a good spread and staff was superbly friendly. It felt like we were in a resort hotel in spite of its location. Another thing that I enjoy here is the openness of the Lobby area with ample seating areas, separated by flexible sliding glass doors which made the area more spacious than it actually is - the design is very clever. This wild card was definitely worth it!

Both positive and negative… Positives..the staff, location, pool area, reception/bar area, wifi Negatives..the room was small, there was an odd false wall next to the bed which meant we couldn’t see the tv. One day we didn’t get towels so had to find housekeeping as the phone didn’t work. The bed is a mattress on the floor which might be difficult for some people. We had a connecting room and our neighbours were noisy from very early in the morning. It’s seems they’ve spent money on renovating the public areas but not so much on the rooms. Maybe the bigger rooms are better and ask for a room without a connecting door for noise reduction
