This is my third time staying at Blackbrook Lodge. Each visit has been lovely. The owners are so accommodating and down to earth, the first time we camped here they set us up a fire pit and even brought us toast in the morning before we left! How cute. It's a stunning place with great surroundings (the pond area is...

A small group of us stayed at the Blackbrook Lodge campsite for a weekend away. We had no trouble booking, and managed to get a good spot for two tents, with electric hookups, for £15 each (two nights, three days). We thought this was amazing value. The campsite itself is in a gorgeous location, and is incredibly peaceful. There is...

I can't fault it if I tried. I'm not a caravan site lover by heart but due to these people, my views are different. I'm not writing a massive review. Go there, experience it and be a part of their world.

A group of about 15 of us camped at blackbrook and had an incredible time. The hosts were fabulous and even helped deliver us too and from the local pub (which was also excellent!!). We really enjoyed sitting by the duck pond and chatting amongst friends. The facilities were plentiful and is just a shame I haven't had the time...

Stayed here in my campervan for 2 nights. Some issues over where to put my van as the plots not hard standing had been waterlogged but we agreed it would be fine to park on the grass. Unfortunately, this did not turn out to be the case and I got stuck on the day of my departure but Julie arranged...

My husband and I got married at the beautiful Blackbrook House in Belper and stayed at the equally beautiful Blackbrook Lodge on our wedding night, it was absolutely perfect! We stayed in the Beach Hut, which is a lovely, spacious room with a fantastic sauna, and from the moment we arrived, Julie and Vic looked us. From the card in...

My partner and I were camping with our dog and met up with friends and their dogs. The campsite was nice, nice walks, quiet surroundings and helpful staff. Only one shower but I never had to wait for it. The toilets and shower were cleaned regularly The only downside for me is that we were next to a really miserable...

How do you start with a place like this, The hosts were the most friendly people we have meet while Motor homing, the pitch was perfect and the setting unbelievable. We stayed initially 3 nights but returned after leaving for a pre booked site which was poor. Vic welcomed us back with open arms and made us welcome once again,...
