Very good and clean place. Muslim family run hotel about 20m to the beach. They are very friendly and helpful. This place is opposite Hong Island. 20 minutes by longtail boat to hong island. Tips: - Book private longtail boat from the reception to HONG ISLAND for 2500baht + national park fee. Request them to pack breakfast and go early in the morning. Bring some additional food / snacks. Hong island @ Koh Hong is a good place for snorkeling + kayak. - Contact nearby halal restaurant name baan chomlay for food delivery +66878919969 or can walk to the restaurant. This hotel was a gem! We were very happy with it considering how much we paid. It was clean, the room was spacious and cozy and we liked that it was right in front of a private beach. Here are some facts/ tips though for those who want to know the real deal.
1. The area of the beach in front of the hotel is fine (take note you have to cross a 2-lane road which wasn't a problem for us but was an issue for others) but we suggest walking down to the part of the beach that is near the Sofitel which is a little better maintained 2. It's not near town or the popular Aonang and it will cost you 500B for a one-way taxi trip which we thought was expensive. We didn't venture out too often though as we kept ourselves occupied with activities that included hotel pick ups. There's also an option to rent a scooter for a day at 150B which is much cheaper provided you know how to get around. 3. The hotel breakfast is very simple. Make sure you let them know at least the night before otherwise no food for you. The nearest eateries are about a 10 min walk away except for a nice little local noodle shop right in front of the hotel. The nearest convenience store and atm is about 1km away. The hotel is pretty secluded which can be a good or bad thing depending on you. 4. The hotel staff are very nice although there can be a bit of a language barrier but we managed just fine during our 6-day stay. They helped us book all the activities we wanted to go on without any issue. 5. There are no lifts and the hotel has three storeys so please keep that in mind if you're averse to stairs. 6. The hotel calls a restaurant for delivery should you be too lazy to head out but I suggest you stay clear of the mussels. My boyfriend and I had pretty bad food poisoning on the last day. The rest of the food we ordered previously was fine and the staff are very nice and bring the food up to your room.

This place is perfect . Staff, price, rooms, location ticked all the boxes for me. The beach across the road is very nice and chilled and about 700 metres to left you will find some cool beach bars, restaurant options and the beach stretch has amazing views to all the dotted neighbouring krabi islands! I will definitely stay again !

Pros - Very nice design of hotel rooms, minimalistic, just the same as you see at the promotion photos at the web site. Silent and effective air con. Friendly, helpful staff. Directly in the beach front, just the coastal street in between. Cons - smell from the sewer in the bathroom, very poor breakfast - fried eggs, sausages, but cold! , which was very strange, wifi useless - very unstable, just for download your e-mails, but you could not make any longer session, like booking your next hotel etc. No any room service. I don´t need to change my towel every day, but if I stay for four nights and there is a sandy beach, the sand is everywhere. Without any cleaning it is nothing comfortable. From this point of view the hotel is overpriced.

Only commenting on the White Sand cafe beach side, the smoothies are delicious, we tried the mango, coffee, papaya and pineapple all absolutely delicious. If your staying in Nong Thale take a wander along the beach and enjoy these fantastic smoothies.

The hotel is quite new and very clean. The room is spacious and the bathroom is stylish. Breakfast is simple. Close to the beach. The only problem is that it’s a bit off the busy area where you’ll find beach restaurants, 1 km to go.

New hotel, it's clean & hotel personnels are willing to help. Room 302 is the best for sea view. No elevator & have to cross a narrow road to the beach in front of the hotel. Also, no restaurant nearby, have to walk about 1 km.

This is a nice hotel to stay at if you want to get away from all the craziness of Ao Nang or other touristy parts of Krabi. The location is nice, but it is far from most other attractions so you will pay quite a bit for transport. There a some nice beachside restaurants nearby. The rooms were well designed and spacious ans the view was not bad. The staff were kind and helpful, but they only have one staff member cleaning the rooms so it takes almost all day to get your room cleaned depending on what floor you are staying in.

We had a nice stay at White Sand Halal House. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helped us get a taxi to Krabi airport. The beach is right across the road but the road itself is a little busy. Close by restaurants require a little walk down the road.

Very nice and helpfull staff (calling tuk-tuks, taxis, recommending tours), when no tuk-tuk was available, they took us with their own car! Location is very good and quiet, perfect for families. There is almost a private beach infront of the hotel. What I appriciated, there was a stable and fast internet connection (even for doing video-conf or downloading large files). There were just few cons - very simple breakfast (but was sufficient for us), a bit away from restaurants and shops (10 mins walking or 2 mins by tuk-tuk) and a bit noisy air-conditioning from the other room.

From Krabi Airport to White Sand Hotel is about 40 minuets by mini bus. There is bus station on the ground floor at lift hand in airport. It costs 200 thb/person for single trip. The mini bus normally takes a route around the mountain, not necessarily to take boat.

Hi inge , it is about 30 mins from krabi airport by car and well worth the trip this secluded location of krabi. It’s on the mainland so not on another island but great views to the neighbouring islands and accessible to them by long tail boat.
There are more places to choose from in the Nong Thale area.
