Hotel's Favourite
Amazing boutique hotel with lovely welcoming people looking to make your stay special. Brilliant buffet breakfast with freshly made egg station, avocado on toast or Thai food or hot English breakfast plus usual cakes, bread selection [coconut jam is yummy] all covered carefully and fresh portions brought out regularly. The fruit was so tasty and each morning the bar had a different super juice freshly squeezed to try. All rooms including ours are close to the beautiful beach and pool. Both restaurants are extremely good with local Thai food for the adventurous plus check the back page for more familiar Thai dishes. Italian was surprisingly delicious with soft crispy edged bruschetta and delicious fresh toppings for pizza. We had great fun with the onsite Thai kickboxing classes which we had never tried before and picked up so much in just two classes. The teacher was great at taking us step by step to learn key moves at a pace we could follow. The free shuttle pass we used to go to Krabi Town and the night market. A fun experience where you could eat and shop and be entertained as there's a stage with local acts on. For the night we visited it was a children's talent show with varying talents which was great to watch while sipping our cocktails. Even at the market safety and hygiene were taken seriously with gloves in use and stall holders wearing masks. I have an egg and dairy intolerance but found it easy to eat by using a photo of the condition written by a local to show to the stall holders. The hotel's other trips are also worth a mention with the walk up to naga mountain worth the hard work since it's fairly steep and a bit of a scramble at times but great views. We had a personal guide to take us there. Plus the boat picnic trip was so romantic and the food so special with a three-course Thai picnic with fresh fruit as snacks seeing tiny little islands, snorkelling or just admiring the unusual landscape. Such a special experience. Evening entertainment was varied with the saxophone very talented and some singers soulful but one couple a little warbly for my liking but very familiar tunes so still a good listen and not too late. Hotel also helped us book a trip to Tiger Temple with pick up at the hotel which included swimming in hot spring water. If we had stayed a little longer we would have spared time for yoga mornings, definitely more Thai boxing and the cooking class but we just couldn't squeeze more into the week we had. Top tip...make sure you have cash for National site access fees and the Tiger temple tour is paid in cash directly too. Also hotel boat trips are direct from beach in front of hotel....so easy to get to. Other tours can be arranged by yourself like the James Bond Island tour we asked for which picks up from hotel but this does take an hour to get to the pier. We'll worth it though but hotels own tour was better.

This is a charming and well tended, comfortable hotel resort near Krabi. Hotel grounds are an oasis of lush green tropical plants and the whole experience is one of a well run and oiled machine. The staff are all extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble when it comes to serving hotel guests and going the extra mile. The food at both restaurants was particularly noteworthy as being excellent and delicious,as were the breakfasts! The front of the hotel faces a lovely Sandy beach with impressive views out to sea. I had two massages whilst there and I can confidently say they were some of the best I have ever had! A most comfortable resort which comes highly recommended.

We booked a long stay for a few families at this hotel. The reservation was made directly on the hotel web site, with clear free-cancellation terms until a few weeks before our stay. We even discussed the free-cancellation date via email with the hotel, and received written confirmation that until a specific date - we can cancel and get a FULL refund. Unfortunately our plans changed and we had to cancel our stay. Both before and after we informed the hotel of the cancellation - we got emails saying clearly that we will get a full refund within 30-45 days (they even informed us in writing that they managed to rent our rooms to other guests). Unfortunately, what followed was 3 months of terrible customer service. The hotel ignored most of our emails, and when we did get a response - it was a generic response of “your refund request is being processed”. After 3 months of waiting, we suddenly got an email saying that since we cancelled late (we did not!), and since they were unable to rent our room to other guests (wrong again!) - they will deduct 15% from our refund. They even dare to claim that we agreed to the reduced refund - which of course we never did. With horrible, unresponsive customer support and many hundreds of dollars that the hotel refuses to refund us with, I would never recommend this hotel.

The finest hotel set thoughtfully into its setting on a stunning beach. Luxurious throughout, great food and stunningly friendly caring staff. Plenty to do including yoga hiking and boat trips but the location is quiet and 25 mins from town. Stay here and feel like Royalty!

A generally very positive review. This was our fourth and last hotel stop of our Cambodia/Thailand trip Chosen as a place to unwind and relax and that worked out just perfect Resort is spotlessly clean and very well maintained Staff are all first class Spa great Pool is nice and wasn’t ever overly busy Beach was very clean and a nice place to be Kayaks and paddle boards were always free and available. The hotel main restaurant was great with a good range of options. We didn’t try the Italian because we were in Thailand so can’t comment on it. Only negative point. Boat trip ‘picnic’ was a bit of a let down. We only received one main course and it was covered in ants so couldn’t be eaten No drinks provided apart from water. Fruit was only pineapple which I don’t like (I know that’s my issue). The food cost was more than the boat trip so I suggest you go early and don’t bother with food. In fact there are some food options on a few islands you’ll stop at. If you just want to chill it’s a great choice. If you’re looking to travel outwith hotel then perhaps pick somewhere closer to a town.

Dear Khun EricR28, Thank you for your kind feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found our facilities, staff, and amenities to be of high quality. We apologize for the disappointment with the boat trip picnic. We take your feedback seriously and will address the issues you mentioned regarding the food selection and quality. Please note that we offer guests to order one preferred non-alcoholic drink per person and offer seasonal fruits based on availability for our picnic package. Additionally, our picnic features high-quality organic ingredients, which may contribute to the pricing being slightly higher. We appreciate your understanding and hope that despite this, you were able to unwind and relax during your stay with us. Thank you for choosing our resort, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Warm regards, Jan Panyarachun General Manager

This was the best resort that me and my husband have been to and we were truly so sad to leave. The location is beautiful. Beach is clean, quiet, and arranged with multiple lounge options. The resort aesthetic is absolutely beautiful. Our suite was comfortable, modern, and had many amazing features (outdoor shower and bath, private pool, huge bathroom, smart TV, reliable wifi). The resort management is nothing short of excellent. Our flight got pushed back several hours, which meant we got in at 10pm. They had the foresight to ask if we needed to preorder any food prior to the kitchen closing and had someone waiting for us to make check in as smooth as possible. We appreciated that immensely after such a long day of travel. All staff are kind, courteous, and accommodating, from our waitstaff to the cleaning staff to the gardeners. You're always greeted with a smile. Both restaurants had excellent food and drink. Breakfast is amazing and something we looked forward to everyday. The spa was a wonderful experience with a unique atmosphere (check out pics of the cocooned treatment rooms), quality services, and wonderfully kind staff. High value and high quality resort that gave us an experience we will never forget. We hope to return someday!

Our stay at The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort surpassed all expectations, providing a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The Superior room created a comfortable and intimate ambiance, featuring a private terrace with a view of the inviting pool area. The room, complete with a plunge pool-style bathtub adorned with petals, radiated a profoundly romantic atmosphere. The resort seamlessly integrated with the local scenery, utilising natural materials and maintaining an admirable eco-conscious effort, reflected in the amenities and items like beach bags, flip-flops, torches, and fans which we could use during our stay. Daily housekeeping, coupled with a turndown service, upheld a high standard of cleanliness, while considerate additions like mosquito deterrents ensured a worry-free environment. The well-laid-out and spacious design of the hotel guaranteed each room its own space, avoiding any sense of crowding. Our culinary journey at Arundina Thai and the Italian restaurant was satisfying, featuring flavorful authentic Thai dishes and wood-fired pizzas. However, we observed that the Thai food tended to be quite spicy unless otherwise requested, and the Western dishes leaned toward the oily side. We explored neighboring hotels, including the Banyan Tree and Amari Vogue (the latter was appalling). While the Banyan Tree offered outstanding food, it lacked the atmosphere The Tubkaak provided, especially with the addition of tasteful and enjoyable entertainment, such as the violinist and the guitarist/ singer duo. The attentive staff added a memorable touch to our dining experience. Our appreciation for our stay at The Tubkaak deepened after visiting other establishments, we were grateful for the value for money and unique atmosphere it provided. What truly set our visit apart were the considerate and personalised touches from the staff. From remembering our preferences to surprising us with a birthday treat for my fiancé, the genuine hospitality made us feel genuinely valued. We encountered an issue with delayed luggage from our connecting flight, and Ben at reception exhibited utmost professionalism, going above and beyond to promptly address the issue to get them delivered to the hotel without us having to worry or stress. Fis at reception also added a delightful touch of humor, lifting our spirits after a long and frustrating journey to Krabi while efficiently checking us in and showing us around our room. During our stay, we indulged in a visit to the spa, and while it may come with a higher price tag compared to other vendors along the beach or in the towns, it proved to be sublimely relaxing, on par with top spas I have experienced in the UK. The attention to detail, such as the choice of massage oil presented in quaint china bottles and the herbal tea provided both before and after the treatment, truly elevated the entire experience. As we bidded farewell to The Tubkaak, we carried cherished memories of the beautiful surroundings, delectable meals, moments of laughter, and sincere hospitality. It wasn't just a holday; it was a rejuvenating experience that rekindled our love and etched lasting memories. For those seeking a comfortable, romantic retreat, The Tubkaak Krabi stands as a solid choice. It's more than a resort; it's a place where memories are crafted, and hospitality is sincere. We eagerly anticipate the day we can return and relive this exceptional experience.
