Hotel's Favourite
Amazing boutique hotel with lovely welcoming people looking to make your stay special. Brilliant buffet breakfast with freshly made egg station, avocado on toast or Thai food or hot English breakfast plus usual cakes, bread selection [coconut jam is yummy] all covered carefully and fresh portions brought out regularly. The fruit was so tasty and each morning the bar had a different super juice freshly squeezed to try. All rooms including ours are close to the beautiful beach and pool. Both restaurants are extremely good with local Thai food for the adventurous plus check the back page for more familiar Thai dishes. Italian was surprisingly delicious with soft crispy edged bruschetta and delicious fresh toppings for pizza. We had great fun with the onsite Thai kickboxing classes which we had never tried before and picked up so much in just two classes. The teacher was great at taking us step by step to learn key moves at a pace we could follow. The free shuttle pass we used to go to Krabi Town and the night market. A fun experience where you could eat and shop and be entertained as there's a stage with local acts on. For the night we visited it was a children's talent show with varying talents which was great to watch while sipping our cocktails. Even at the market safety and hygiene were taken seriously with gloves in use and stall holders wearing masks. I have an egg and dairy intolerance but found it easy to eat by using a photo of the condition written by a local to show to the stall holders. The hotel's other trips are also worth a mention with the walk up to naga mountain worth the hard work since it's fairly steep and a bit of a scramble at times but great views. We had a personal guide to take us there. Plus the boat picnic trip was so romantic and the food so special with a three-course Thai picnic with fresh fruit as snacks seeing tiny little islands, snorkelling or just admiring the unusual landscape. Such a special experience. Evening entertainment was varied with the saxophone very talented and some singers soulful but one couple a little warbly for my liking but very familiar tunes so still a good listen and not too late. Hotel also helped us book a trip to Tiger Temple with pick up at the hotel which included swimming in hot spring water. If we had stayed a little longer we would have spared time for yoga mornings, definitely more Thai boxing and the cooking class but we just couldn't squeeze more into the week we had. Top tip...make sure you have cash for National site access fees and the Tiger temple tour is paid in cash directly too. Also hotel boat trips are direct from beach in front of hotel....so easy to get to. Other tours can be arranged by yourself like the James Bond Island tour we asked for which picks up from hotel but this does take an hour to get to the pier. We'll worth it though but hotels own tour was better.

Where do I start, this was probably the most beautiful beach resort I have ever stayed in. Perfect location on the pristine Tubkaek beach with white sands and clear waters. Eco friendly facilities well maintained throughout the grounds. Lovely greenery everywhere. The whole atmosphere gives a very chilled and relaxing feel. The main restaurant is located right by the edge of the beach with amazing views and live music in the evenings. Excellent and attentive staff. Our Sea View room had a private plunge pool at the back which was really nice. There are some other eateries on the beach within walking distance (including a beachside massage hut) which was very useful and handy. The taxi ride to Aonang and the Night Market is about 20 mins.

Lovely position on a lovely beach with great views and great that you can get a long tail boat directly from your hotel for some excursions. We would fully recommend Hong Island tour over Phi Phi as it’s so more spectacular and quieter and more the Thailand island experience, we really enjoyed it. The hotel itself, the decor is dated, not like the website. The first morning I attempted to use the coffee machine, there we no instructions and it was not like ours at home so water ended up all over and the pod just fell through, we went to reception to tell them as we used a towel to clear the mess, I asked should there be instructions and their reply was thank for your feedback, so here is my feedback, instructions would not go a miss. We found there was not much in the way of information in the room, there was a leaflet with bar codes to scan with restaurant menu, excursions etc but we were very unsure if room service was on offer and how to go about it so one night just asked as we left the restaurant for wine to the room, to be fair there is not anywhere to actually eat food in the room so I would say it is not an option. Staff are not consistent, one minute they are very attentive then they focus one others, as previous comments have said you feel these are influencers or have paid extra for other things and therefore get more attention. One morning we told the waitress that we will have our coffee at the end of breakfast and another two came asking did we want coffee so there was a lack of communication between servers. There is lack of consistency for making over the rooms, one day it was 3 O’clock before they did ours, just before we needed it to change to get ready to go out. Communication between ourselves and staff was a struggle, on the day we left we had been advised that our luggage would be collected between 11.30 and 11.45, it wasn’t so I rang reception to say it was ready and they had very little understanding of what I was saying, then the letter we had received with check out information stated that the checkout of the room was 12 and that they recommended you settle your bill half an hour before your scheduled departure in case of delays, ours was 2pm so we gave the key back and intended to go to get a drink while we waited then we would pay in full as stated at 1.30, this was not an option, trying to tell 2 different receptionist this is what we would do was an impossible task as they did not understand us and we felt pressured to settle the bill so we just paid there and then and then paid at the bar, no issue just don’t put that on the letter if you don’t want that to happen. Our main and biggest issue was noise from adjoining rooms, especially the one about, for 3 of our 5 night stay the people about had very little sleep and walked around a lot, opening and shutting doors, one night it only stopped for 2 hours, thank god for earplugs that helped a little bit, we did not complain at the time as we felt we didn’t want to waste our holiday time having to pack again to move to possibly have the same issue in another room, we would recommend you book the upstairs rooms. On a whole the hotel grew on us as the stay went on but there could definitely be improvement.

Dear Khun MandiStrang, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay with us. Firstly, we're delighted to hear that you appreciated our hotel's prime location and the convenience of the long tail boat excursions. We also value your recommendation for the Hong Island tour over Phi Phi. However, it's evident from your feedback that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, and for that, we sincerely apologize. Regarding the decor of our hotel, we are in a continuous process of evaluating and making updates where necessary. We appreciate your feedback on this, and we will ensure our online representation accurately reflects our current décor. Your feedback on the coffee machine and the need for instructions is well noted. We understand the importance of such details in ensuring a comfortable stay for our guests, and we'll work on providing clearer instructions and information within the rooms. Our team strives for consistency in delivering top-notch service, and it's disappointing to hear that we fell short during your stay. We will address the concerns you mentioned about communication between our staff and the inconsistencies in room service timings with the relevant departments. We're particularly concerned about the noise disturbances you faced. Ensuring our guests have a restful sleep is a priority, and we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. We will look into soundproofing options to enhance our guests' comfort. Your feedback about the checkout process and the clarity in our communication is invaluable. We will review our checkout guidelines and ensure our staff is better trained to communicate and understand our guests' needs. Thank you once again for your feedback. We hope to have another opportunity to serve you better and showcase the improvements made based on valuable input like yours. Tropical regards, Azman Lateh (David) Operations Manager

Unfortunately it was a 2 Nights stay at this Gorgeous , Amazing, Spectacular Hotel/Boutique. The Staff was very Friendly with an amazing warm welcome upon arrival. The Cleanliness of the Reception area was indescribable, along with the Room. The Incredible warm welcome for us as a honeymooners got our attention with Few Complementaries given by the staff receptionists. During our stay we had No Negative Comments on anything in the Hotel/Boutique. Booked a Hong Island tour from the tours desk, and it was very organized with Snacks on the Long tail boat. We were lucky enough to stay at this amazing resort and sadly it was only for 3 nights! Everything single thing was wonderful from the lovely rooms, to the pool area, the amazing breakfast (which are the best we’ve ever had), the morning yoga, the beautiful gardens and surroundings and also the caring staff (in particular Pitchy and Pookie - hope I have this spelt right, who were both amazing). In all honesty this is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and we cannot wait to return. Thank you Tubkaak you deserve every 5/5 review you get.

Amazing hotel, very very clean and ideally located. Super confortable and great restaurants, pool and spa! Only thing is that my 5 year old was sick and my thermometer was broken, they didnt have one in the front desk and it would have been a nice touch! We loved the kayaks, the paddle surf, everything about it! I had a massage and it was great too. Everything is pricey but you can expect that. They have a library room which I feel is very useless now, I would turn it into a play space for the kids visiting when it rains.
