Stayed there for a couple of nights to explore the region's national park. Remote to the park's entrance, but your host offers free transport. Breakfast was included (pancake, fruit, coffee) and their restaurant had prices a little higher you would expect from a Warung. The quality was good though. Due to the remoteness to the Park's entrance you will pay...

I had a great stay at Tangkoko Dove Villas. The owner, Oody, was a pleasure to deal with during the booking process. And he was immensely helpful during my stay. The villas/bungalows are well sized with an attached, outside shower/toilet. They were very clean and the grounds were lovely and well looked after. The property is a 5-10min drive from...

The room was nice and spatious, the bed was good, the outdoor (private) shower was very nicely decorated. But best of all were the people, Ouldy the owner was very kind in showing me a route to drive with my girlfriend on the motorcycle, the food was also great and overall you got a feeling of being welcome and taken...

We stayed with a group of friends for three nights. Oudy picked us up at the airport in Manado and dropped us off when we left. He also provided transport for all our adventure while we stayed at the Dove Villas. We really enjoyed the National Park - the Tarsiers and Black Macaques particularly good along with some great birdwatching....

A group of 12 of us stayed at Tangkoko Dove Villas during their recent drought. Oudy, his wife and team could not do enough for us. They fetched us from Manado airport and on the way to their villas took us to see an ancient Mindanao cemetery. Smoke haze filled the air during our time there and the forest was...

This was a rather unclean and poorly maintained accommodation. We intended to stay 2 nights but left after just 1. While the staff was friendly and cooked us a delicious vegetarian dinner the atmosphere and rooms were not good at all. There were stains all over the bed sheets, the pillow cases were ripped, dead bugs lay in the mosquito...

My wife and I stayed for a few nights in August to visit the Tangkoko nature reserve. The rooms are fairly basic, but are as advertised and this is "jungle" accommodation after all. The owners and staff are all very sociable, and meal times were enjoyable. Food was home cooked, tasty and plentiful. Trips were well organised and worthwhile. We...

My impression of spending 2 nights at Tangkoko Dove Villas: 1. Location: quite good - located below the small main road and around a 15 minutes drive from the Tangkoko park entry. There are other places to stay which are quite closer to the park. 2. Bungalows: rather simple but fine, most are attached to each other, and have open...

I organized my friends' honeymoon and decided to send them to the TNR. I booked a room at Tangkoko Dove villas for them, as well as transportation, as they were coming from Bunaken island. So we agreed with Oudy, the owner of Dove villas, that a driver would come and pick them up at a specific location and a specific...
