Location is great, pretty village with lots of walks, sheep, fields and beautiful manor house. Rooms are good, ours had a huge bed! Breakfast was great, we recommend the porridge with berries, you won't need any lunch. We also had dinner which was good. Service is excellent and all staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a beer garden, popular...

I booked here with secret escapes, the bar area and breakfast room are lovely but I think there is room for improvement. Unfortunately we were placed in the wrong room (standard room not superior) but this was soon corrected when I asked staff. We were also due to receive a bottle of wine for the room and a 10% spa...

Admittedly, only went for a drink. Very small bar area (was there another one adjoining one) with pleasant fire. Bit shabby around the edges. Quite a few young - all braying loudly. Most of them appeared to be deaf. Decent beer.

This was booked as a treat after all our stays in third rate hotels with poor quality food. The room was delightful and the toiletries top of the range. The folder of does and do nots was an interesting read and quite alarming that guest can be so disrespectful. Included in our package was dinner and that was a let...

Stayed for a couple of nights. Pub had a range of proper bitters. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were fine, with traditional as opposed to interesting, decor. Excellent breakfast in a very nice room. Didn't eat dinner as seeing friends locally.

Nestled away in a valley, in a lovely location yet only a short drive from A303 The Queens Arms is a fab Inn. Stayed two nights in the main building, the service was smooth and the team were friendly welcoming. Ate twice in the restaurant and the food was a very high standard, essential to find space for the delectable...

Our family have visited the Queens Arms for many years and have always had an enjoyable time. Nice countryside location, very friendly staff, excellent food and superb selection of beers. In fact, we're looking forward to their next real ale festival.

We'd only ever stopped off here on our way to Devon or Cornwall in the past but had always been impressed so decided to book a night here for our 10th wedding anniversary. What a lovely place. Comfortable bed and lovely under floor heating in the bathroom. I was pleased to discover that the room below ours was the staff...

My husband and I spent one night at this comfortable and very friendly country pub/hotel. Everything was just perfect from the moment we walked in. Our room was stylish and comfortable, the bathroom luxurious, the food delicious and the bar full of friendly people, dogs and a roaring fire. What made our stay particularly memorable was the excellent service -...

Just the one night stay and a great welcome meant we were shown to our room (8) promptly. Spacious and comfortable with great amenities and a comfortable (bit creaky) bed. The carpets however need either a deep clean or replacing. In the bar there were great choices of ales and cider in a friendly bar with roaring fire. We were...
