We stayed 3 nights in the cabins for our anniversary. The cabin we wanted, The Rose Cottage, wasn't available the first night we were there, but the owners worked with us and allowed us to stay in a different cabin the first night (South of the Border) then move the the Rose Cottage for the next two nights. The South... More

My husband and I were in desperate need of a peaceful weekend getaway away from the hustle and bustle of life, and that's exactly what we got. Riverview Cabins is located in the Ouachita Nat'l Forest about 15 minutes from the small town of Mt. Ida and 45 minutes from the city of Hot Springs. It was a very easy... More

My wife and I established a few requirements for our vacation/anniversary getaway. Peaceful, jacuzzi, canoeing/hiking are "must have" for this to be the vacation we deserve. I was reluctant to book these cabins only because the price was far lower than other cabin areas in Arkansas. It was too good to be true, and that was a red flag for... More

We traveled all through Arkansas and stayed at the Riverview for two nights. Our cabin was about $30 more per night than our excellent cabin in Eureka Springs, so we did not think it was a good value for the money. The bed was comfortable, the furnishings were a little tired, and the outside deck had a great wooded and... More

This was a last minute get away for the weekend. We stayed in one of the cabins with a hot tub. The gardens were nicely done with many little surprise details. The cabins were secluded and well decorated, each with its own theme. They were just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life yet close to... More

My family of 4 stayed in # 4 Sunflowers for 3 nights in May. We had a great time and Sue and Heather (?) were always more than helpful. The man who took us kayaking was very nice too. The cabins were very clean. I think we should've rented a larger one with a river view, but we can do... More

My wife and I recently stayed in one of the cabins after finding them online. We have never stayed in a facility of this sort, so we did not really know what to expect. The facilities were adequate, but very pricey for what you get. First of all, the river was so low that it would have been nearly impossible... More

Management response:

The couple came in at closing time and looked at a honeymoon cabin and a small. Choose the small one. They left to go to Mt. Ida for dinner. Next morning came in to check out and did mention the spiders, which were Grand Daddy Long Legs. After they departed as I went to the cabin I noticed the back... More

This is our 3rd visit to the cabins. First 2 in winter and the last at the end of May. My husband and I love it. It's peaceful, quiet, and secluded. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definatly make more trips to this beautiful resort.
