We enjoyed our stay at Lamplighter in Ozark. Carol is a wonderful hostess and a great cook. She prepared delicious omelette, bacon, and potato dish with a huge bowl of fresh fruit! Carol is very knowledgeable about the history and customs of the area, so it was very interesting talking with her about ozark. We would definitely be back next... More

This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and it definitely set the bar. The house was sprawling and the view of the river was spectacular. We were the only people that weekend so we got to choose our room. We chose the upstairs bedroom which had the biggest bed and by far the best view. The house... More

Carol welcomed us with open arms and tender loving care. All the rooms of the home are spacious and well appointed. Very clean and equipped with all you need for a comfortable and quiet stay. Couldn't hear a sound from outside of our room. In the morning we were treated a delicious gourmet breakfast with a classic presentation. All American... More

Overall a great stay! Carol, owner, is such a delightful person! My wife had nice visit with her at breakfast which is phenomenal. Pictures coming. On the other hand, although spacious and very clean, it needs some tlc. The big screen t.v. is vintage. Don't expect hd viewing. Our room had a marvelous view of the Arkansas River and the... More

The Good: Reasonable rates Clean Amazing breakfast The Bad: Out of date and creepy decor No view of the water like we thought Next to a hospital, helipad and train tracks It all depends on what you like, but I may have nightmares about the life size Charlie Chaplin doll for a while.

Like never leaving home, just need my wife and dog and I would be in heaven. House is a museum of antiques and the accommodations are superb. And... More

Carol was a wonderful and friendly hostess. The room was very nice and clean, the atmosphere quiet and comfortable. Service was excellent, and the breakfasts were unbelievable - scrumptious feasts each morning! I highly recommend the Lamplighter B&B.

Miss Carol is the sweetest lady. She has the most beautiful home. It is amazingly decorated and feels very homey. She also happens to make the most amazing breakfast, presentation and flavor is the best I have ever had.

An older but clean B&B just a few miles from the heart of wine country. The breakfasts were outstanding! Location is in a very quite area on the banks of a river. Carol, the owner is friendly and nice, very knowledgeable about places to see and things to do.
