Located at the entrance to the world heritage site Petra, Petra guesthouse is convenient and friendly. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. They have a nice restaurant and unique bar on the premises. After walking all day it was nice to have our hotel close too the exit. It would be a perfect hotel if it...

The rooms are comfortable with great bedding. But really this hotel is all about the location, it's literally right at the entrance gate to Petra so it's easy to get up and have the entire site to yourself for a good hour or so, which can be a very magical experience. I did laundry while I was here and both...

Great location at the gates of Petra. Perfect for arriving and getting right to the Petra or finishing up a daylong sightseeing experience and being at your room a minute after leaving Petra. Service was great, hotel was a little on the expensive side but in the end worth it for the convenience. I would stay there again.

Hands down the best location in relation to the visitors entrance of Petra......located a few steps from the hotel. You will appreciate this even more after a long day of walking in Petra itself. With that said, we were given a room that was probably the farthest away with lots of stairs to get to it. This hotel is probably...

we stayed at the Guesthouse for 2 nights. This is the best location for getting into Petra and the outdoor outside the Cave Bar is a relaxing location after a long day. The rooms was very comfortable and Khaled was very welcoming. We ate in the dining area outside the Cave Bar - the mezze are to be recommended. As...

One can't get any closer to Petra site than staying at the Petra guest house. This is particularly important for a spread-out site like Petra where one has to walk quite a bit. After completing the tiring tour, it's a big relief that you are almost inside the hotel and this is a big plus while opting to stay here....

The hotel is right at the Petra gate. You can't get closer. There are other hotels nearby, but many others were uphill and pretty far from the Petra entrance. If you don't stay here you should consider something close by. Our legs were worn out after doing Petra! The room was fine, and clean, but for the price we paid...

It is impossible to decide which is the single most important factor in assessing any accommodation. Location has to be one of the top and this is where this place comes out on top. Movenpick right next door has the same advantage but it is almost double the price of Guest House. This place is run and managed by Crowne...

Dated hotel that takes all the credit for being right next to the entrance to the historic site. We arrived for one-night oversleep, were made able to unpack before official check-in time, got a welcome drink. So far, so good. Even though we got upgraded to Chalet, the room was just 15-20 years old, where especially the bathroom was not...

My wife and I finally got to visit Petra and chose the Petra Guest House based on it's proximity to the entrance. The hotel was a bit more expensive than other properties in the area, but the pictures and the fact that it was sitting right at the entrance won the day. Upon arrival a bellman came to the car...
