This camp has a perfect environment for campers and people looking for a luxurious tent and have the full safari spirit. Elephants just walking past the tents, monkeys in the trees, birds everywhere. Go for it. The boat safari is a nice add-on to a morning self drive/safari tour.

Very good, We stayed in comfortable tent rooms. There are also shared dorms (also comfortable, at least when not too full) and camping. Bit of a trip to shared loos and showers; I imagine these could get pretty busy when the place is full. Food was fine but quite limited; adequate rather than good. Boat safari especially good; well over... More

Slept in the dorm. They have option for camping and private rooms. Water was warm and clean toilets. Food and drinks was not included but can be ordered at the kitchen/bar or bring your own food. Highly recommend the boat safari. It was wonderfull!

Beautiful place built from nature. Showering in the sun, sleeping with the sounds of nature, eating next to the outdoor kitchen, relaxing on the sundeck. What a wonderful, friendly, affordable place with very proffessional guides. I stayed there with one birthday savond and was treated to a delicious chocolate cake. Thanks very much to the staff! A birthday to remember!

We really dithered about thinking of staying in Liwonde town to save money but I'm really glad we decided on staying in the park for one night. The staff were really nice- they picked us up from town and then gave us a tour of the lodge. We were staying in the dorm, which was an epic thatched hut with... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. There is something magical about the site that defies words. Fred has done a great job to develop this place, as well as giving his time to community projects (digging a well) outside of the park. The platform tents are perfect for two and offer very well priced accommodation compared to other options in the... More

The staff was extremely helpful. They pick you up from liwonde and bring you back. 15 minutes after Henry left me at the minibus parking, he came back to warn me that he had found and organized a big bus directly to Lilongwe for me. Excellent service mindset! No animals walking through the camp when I was there, but apparently... More

Very relaxed atmosphere, great place to wind down. Facilities are very good for a camp site. Food / Camp / Service and safari are very good. Stayed in luxury tent which was reasonably priced. Viewing Deck is a nice place to relax. Henry tour guide very knowledgeable and entertaining. Boat safari is a must do. Saw hippos and crocs out... More

We spent a couple of nights here in the luxury tents, with communal showers that were always hot. The camp offers fair priced activities, we enjoyed a river cruise, early morning game drive and a lovely sunset bush walk with Brave who was super. The camp itself was relaxing and there was nice nice atmosphere. We ate dinner here on... More
