Perfect location if you are visiting Cape Point and Boulders Beach and it's really lovely along this coastline, close to Cape Town but has a more seaside feel to it. Stayed for 3 nights and chose the harbour balcony rooms which were great. Really spacious, lovely harbour views and large bath and shower rooms. Even had the ManU game on...

Stayed two nights in a Sea-Facing Room and the views were Amazing! Stayed one night in a Street/Mountain-Facing room and the views were also very beautiful! The hotel is in a nice location of Simon's Town with very close proximity to nice restaurants such as Bertha's e.t.c. The hotel is relatively cheap at about 85 Euros for a double inclusive...

The hotel is in the centre of town close to all amenities. My room was sea facing and had a king size bed .The buffet breakfast was very good and more than plentiful. I had forgotten to bring my international charger and enquired at reception and was met with indifference and told they did not have one and no idea...

This hotel was perfectly located whilst i was working in the local naval base. It provided very good value for money, it was clean and well maintained. The food was good and there were many good resurants in the area if you decided to eat else where for a change. The staff were excellent in all respects, so well done...

Couldn't fault to room and also the harbour view. Breakfast was first class as was the overall service from the staff. The downside of our stay was the lack of free internet access and the high charge for access if required in the hotel. Free internet access was available in most bars/ restaurants locally but was not always convenient to...

Very quaint hotel and great location. Accommodation needs updating though as very tired and old fashioned. Not very much to do in Simon's Town in the evening so expect a very chilled dinner and early night.

This was my favourite hotel during my stay in South Africa, fantastic setting, lovely rooms with harbour views, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and in anyone's book should be excellent. But how can a hotel now try to charge for Wifi, is it greed or lack of understanding how customers expect free wifi available somewhere in the hotel if not in...

From the first hello to the final goodbye the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We had a really nice, very clean, comfortable room with a balcony that looked out at the lovely harbour. Even the balcony was spotlessly clean. The small cheerful breakfast room provided a wonderful selection and was overseen by a very friendly lady who...

When they say quayside.....they mean quayside. Magnificent view from our room and our balcony. Worth paying for the upgrade to guarantee the view. The hotel location is perfect. The reception is off a quiet square right in the middle of Simonstown. Parking in the square is reserved for hotel guests which is very handy in this busy tourist town. Our...

We love the location and staff of the Quayside. Still Aha make you pay for wi-fi (which doesn't work), when even the smallest of B&Bs in the rest of SA give wi-fi free. Aha, the owners need to to get to grips with maintaining the furnishings of the hotel, broken chairs, saggy beds and very scruffy towels to name but...
