We had a lovely stay and the service was attentive and kind. The surroundings were surreal and our gorilla trek amazing. I would highly recommend a stay here. It was nice to walk in the community and shop for crafts from Ruth.

Warm welcoming, informative staff, immaculate rooms, fireplace, free wifi, and a hotel that is incredibly dedicated to improving the community. Fantastic view, hot water, good people, fantastic food. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

Perched on the top of the valley the views from the lodges and the dining area are superb. The rooms are excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. Profits also go towards clean water projects in the area so a great cause.

Recommend - incredible views over Bwindi forest, many flowers at the tents, friendly and helpfull staff. There is a little bit chilly at evening&morning, so the jacket would be necessary. I was so glad -- they put two battles with hot water into my bed!! So I sleep as baby. Appreciate their pancakes -- very tasty! After tracking it would...

Fantastic lodge! This was the nicest lodge we went to in the same price range. The lodge is beautifully built and has stunning views from the rooms and dinning area. It is owned and run by the local community and you can see how proud they are of it. The area can be very cold, but thick blankets and the...

Spent one night at Bakiga Lodge. Beautiful location where all rooms overlook a spectacular lush green valley. Lovely food, very welcoming staff, cosy beds with ensuite showers, even wifi in the middle of nowhere. And just a 3 min drive from the ranger station where you start the gorilla treks - perfect. Highly recommended, thank you Gina and colleagues!

We loved our stay at Bakiga Lodge! The views are incredible and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The profits from Bakiga Lodge are used to build water tanks for the local community and it is a very authentic experience as you can really feel the connection to the local community. The food was delicious :) and the beds...

Bakiga Lodge is built on the edge of a cliff and has wonderful views of the valley beyond. The lodge is very conveniently located near the Ruhija entrance of the gorilla treks in Bwindi National Park and makes a good spot to spend a couple of days. I loved the ethos of Bakiga of giving back to the community. We...

The cottages are located on the side of the mountain near the top and have an excellent view to the west and the valley. The steps from the lodge to the cabins are steep and can be long, good training for the Gorilla Tracking. The food was delicious and the fireplace in the lodge was needed as the nights are...

I loved the feel of Bakiga Lodge. With a communal charging point for appliances and the giving back NGO approach to the community Bakiga is a fantastic place. They did give us ham and pineapple pizza as vegetarian (when questioned they said "It's small pieces of ham"!). We didn't push them on it. The food could be improved to match...
