We spent 3 days, using La Milaudiere as our hub..exploring the Loire Valley and Chinon. Laurent was an attentive and helpful host, the site was beautiful and centrally located but off the high traffic tourist paths. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. We will be back and would highly recommend La Milaudiere to friends.

This B&B is just outstanding. Laurent (the owner) is a great host and tourist guide as he helps all the guests planning their visit for the day. They made our stay a memorable one. The B&B is well located closed to Chinon and in short distance to major castles in the region west of Tours. We chose this place because...

We stayed at La Milaudiere for 3 nights and couldn't have wished for a better B & B. Laurent was the perfect host. Breakfast was excellent, great choice of breads/pastries, preserves, yoghurt, cheese and hot/cold beverages. This B & B has a full kitchen for guest use. Good to be able to make a hot drink before retiring for the...

We were made very welcome by Laurent who was very friendly, helpful and keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delightful, especially the homemade jams and lovely breads. The location is...

The house is a fantastic house but in my opinion is quite more important the owner, in this case Laurent, who put a lot of...

My fiance and I cycled across France and stayed here for one night on our way from Ligres (Chinon area) to Poitiers. We stayed in numerous other b&bs on the way before this one and after and none were of the same quality and for such a reasonable price. The highlights were - the lovely room, it was large with...

Stayed two nights in Sept 2008 and really enjoyed the area. Our GPS lead us to the Church down the road and we had to hunt a little further to find La Milaudiere. Room was very comfortable, breakfast large and very reasonably priced. (2008-45 Euros) Laurent bought this old farmhouse about 14 years ago and has been constantly upgrading and...
