We stayed for two nights during a biking roundtrip. During the second day we went by bike to Nimes and back on the Voie Verte (biking path on the previous rails), which runs just behind the hotel. The hotel is very nicely and stylish renovated, with nice, maching colours and a lot of attention to details. It has a pretty... More

This used to be a railway station, the rails are gone and replaced by a "green route" for cycling and walking. very friendly staff and nice facilities, even a pool. No restaurant, but great breakfast buffet to be in France (i.e. more than croissants and jam). The bath rooms are small, but work well. Located 10 minutes walk from the... More

Stayed for four nights on a touring holiday of SW France. The hotel is in a beautifully renovated railway station with a nice pool and very pleasant main entrance hall. Rooms are small but do the trick and staff are friendly and helpful. Sommieres is 5 mins walk away and is a lovely village to explore (small town really). Plenty... More

This is really a very nice and charming place. Originally a railway station now a nice little hotel. Walk to the main square in town is just 10'. Also a brilliant running track next to hotel, actually the old rail line converted for bikes and runners. Great pool and also the conference room was quite ok. My room was small,... More

Our twice a year trip south for the brocantes and we chose this time to stay in Sommieres. What a lovely surprise to find this hotel. Charming, comfortable, well priced and very friendly. We were there for 4 nights at Eastertime and it was most enjoyable. A converted railway station with history. Well recommended. Do note though, they do not... More

This is a careful renovation and new construction of the old train station. The details are well thought out here, from the lovely reception hall to the colors and artwork in the rooms. Our room opened to a small patio/sitting area that was very pleasant. The staff is very accommodating and helpful even with my poor french language skills. Breakfast... More

Lovely converted railway station on the outskirts of town. Modern trendy decor. Sadly the room had no A/C in July but luckily on that one night it wasn't that hot. Nice breakfast but staff were a little abrupt.

We stayed overnight here as our nearby campsite was flooded. This is a lovely, very stylish hotel in what used to be the old station building. The property is light and spacious and there are really nice gardens and a swimming pool. The staff were all really friendly. Sommieres is a great little place and there is a traffic-free cycle... Clean, quiet and a perfect base for exploring the beautiful countryside and lovely village of Sommières. The rooms are a little small, but modern and clean and the whole place is very well run by Phillipe and his staff. A totally relaxing stay, well worth the reasonable rates.

Had a lovely relaxing stay at the old train station again. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing break. The pool is a tranquil spot where you can enjoy the sun or the shade and the hotel is beautifully refurbished.
