Our second visit to Costas & Chrysoula did not disappoint. Lovely welcome (large ouzo!), clean comfortable room plus good bathroom. Self catering facilities are basic pretty much suitable for knocking up a salad or breakfast. If you are short of cutlery or crockery ask in the bar it will be provided, rooms have kettle, two ring hob, fridge and hair... More

Stayed at this accommodation again in September and we where met with a warm reception as soon as we arrived, all the family and staff did everything possible to ensure we had an enjoyable stay including the staff at Gorgonas .We left after 2 weeks taking with us many more happy memory's of Plakias and the courteous and helpful people.

Not visited Crete before and found this as a great last minute deal. There were some on our coach who return many times. It is a typical Greek set up, family run, nothing too much trouble and friendly hosts. The rooms are basic, minimal cutlery and crockery it would be difficult to use as self catering but with so many... More

We always visit Plakias at least once a year, and have been coming for over 10 years, and we have never stayed anywhere else than Costas Chrysoula. It has changed very little over the years, but keeps up to date with decor and room refurbs. Kostas is always very helpful, he will do his best to reserve you your favourite... More

This must be our 18th stay with Costas and Chrysoulas and we always enjoy it. The welcoming team, clean rooms, excellent service and the most amazing bar man (Angel - you know who you are) provides a super experience throughout the day (around the pool) and great fun at night when the bar comes alive. Cant wait to return in... More

This delightful accommodation is in a quiet location, a mere fifty yards from the beach and the main tavernas. The apartments are spacious, comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean, the bed linen and towels are changed very regularly. The pool and adjacent bar is an excellent area to enjoy a buffet breakfast, a light lunch or a "sundowner" before going... More

Having travelled many times to Greece we decided to look for a quiet relaxed resort and boy did we find one, we decided to hire a car for the full duration of our holiday and used Anna cars. Picked the car up at the airport and 90 minutes later we are in C&C apartments/hotel in Plakias (after a couple of... More

The room was very clean and comfortable. TV on wall. Can occasionally get programmes in English. Kitchen basic but adequate. Tip: bring washing up brush or sponge plus small amount of washing up liquid. And bread knife! Were here first 2 weeks of Sept. The first week the wind was terrible, blowing like a hurricane. 18mph. A hot wind, but... More

Small friendly clean accommodation. Really close to beach, tavernas, shops and eateries. Plakias is a lovely small, quiet seaside place, ideal to while away the day. No loud, noisy places in the village at all. Only drawback 2.5/3 hrs from airport, but well worth it in every way, after seeing a lot of the drop offs enroute, Plakias and the... More
