The place is...simply great and I can't do anything better but echoing all other excellent comments about Aetoma Hotel. A cozy, family managed, boutique hotel, centrally located, but quiet and perfect in every details: from the warm welcome, the stylish furniture, the smile in every interaction and the most detailed briefing about the city and places to visit and eat:...

Looking for a criticism of this hotel would be like looking for the needle in the hay-stack. My wife and I had a wonderful stay here and fully agree with the praises heaped on this hotel and the owners by earlier reviewers. The hotel is ideally situated in the old town and is very well placed for excellent restaurants nearby....

My husband and I loved everything about this place! Beautiful family-run hotel with new furnishings. Akis and his mom are both so friendly and kind. They took care of all of our needs and made us feel right at home. Akis even helped guide me through the narrow streets to the parking lot when we accidentally drove to the hotel...

We were simply delighted by the hospitality offered by this small family operated hotel. We were warmly greeted by Akis and helped with parking and luggage and given a very thorough briefing on the area with dining and sight-seeing options. We were celebrating out tenth anniversary and treated very specially with a bottle of their house wine and a nice...

I arrived with zero expectations since I really hadn't done my homework this time around... Tomorrow is my wife's birthday, so we decided last minute just to wing it and get a room in Nafplio. A quick search brought me to the Aetoma, and to my luck, although it's a long busy summer weekend, they had just had a cancellation....

We only had a brief 2 night stay in Nafplion, but on arrival Akis greeted us and gave us so much information we could have filled a week. He not only helped with our bags, assisted in finding a close car park, checked us in efficiently, nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff. The room was ample size,...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here for 3 nights in July. We had one of the front rooms and it was very large, pretty, quiet, and elegant. The air conditioning was first class and the huge windows were new, and had screens. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and there was never any noise other than the...

We stayed in Aetoma for 3 nights as the last par of our 3 week honeymoon in Peloponnese. It was the perfect choice as the hotel itself and the room were beyond beautiful and the personalised service made us feel as guests at someone's home. It is located at the very heart of the town, but not noisy at all...

Having travelled around Greece for the last couple of weeks and stayed in some really lovely places, Aetoma tops them all! On arrival Akis and his mother couldn't have been more helpful, offering us drinks and giving us great advice on things to do, restaurants etc. Our room was beautifully decorated, so clean with a comfortable bed and a great...

Small family hotel ideally located in the old town, where we were offered a bottle of local wine as a welcoming present. Only a few rooms, all charming and elegantly decorated. We had breakfast on our small balcony overlooking one of the streets of the old town...with the best Greek yoghurt of our vacation in Peloponnese! And the best homemade...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In Nafplion, a city of magical breeze and unique history, a revamped mansion of the 18th century combines the beauty of the past with the comforts of the present and creates the ideal environment for relaxation and exceptional holidays. The neoclassical luxury appears in each of the 5 hospitable rooms, one of which seems like it slipped silently and took its place in the loft. Visitors feel immediately that they have found both a familiar and unique place. ... more   less
