A friendly and comfortable place to explore Jedburgh, The Glenbank really hits the spot. A lovely breakfast added to the experience. Many thanks for such a warm welcome. Ample parking space and an excellent location - very near the jail!

Hotel in good location - the double room was very small but well presented, clean and warm - with ensuite and shower - we were not aware till arrival that dinner was an option so can not comment as had booked somewhere else - breakfast was avail. from 8 am and not earlier due to the chefs child care arrangements...

After spending far too long stuck on the big car park that the A1 turns into on a Friday afternoon, the prospect of a warm welcome, a decent glass of wine and a tasty meal is all one craves. Luckily, that was what the Glenbank House Hotel provided. One Mushroom Stroganoff and a Lamb Rump after arriving and we found...

Arrived here and was given Room 7..which actually was a large, well furnished room with a view of gardens and woodland - very private and not overlooked. The room was light and well equipped with high quality tea, coffee and biscuits and modern solid furniture. The shower was fabulous with jets going everywhere...lots of warm dry towels. The hosts were...

We stayed for 2 nights the weekend before last. Our room was huge and the bed super comfy. However, the rest of the furniture was cheap and due to the ceiling height looked tiny. The bathroom was big but apart from a tiny towel rail had no heating so showers were taken in record time. We ate at the hotel...

Our second visit here, sadly this time was not as good as previously a few years ago. We felt it has got a bit tired since then. There were a few issues with a light bulb & the shower head flapped about with a mind of it's own when we could get it to work but, in all fairness, this...

Went here tonight and won't be back! Went to visit family. After being told there was hardly anything on the Menu! We ordered our Meals which all came out one plate at a time. Having to wait a very very long time between each meal being served! One guest had Chicken that was under cooked! When we got to deserts,...

As I drove through the trees, Glenbank Hotel was a very pleasant surprise & I enjoyed my stay - wishing it'd been longer. It couldn't have been more welcoming, relaxing & provided everything I asked for. I've passed by many times in the last 30yrs - should've paused to stay overnight. Definitely fits in my top 20. An agent booked...

Nice friendly hotel conveniently locates in the heart of Jedburgh town, in quiet place the half way between castle and Abbey. Hotel provides spacious rooms, car parking, private garden, good breakfast and welcoming staff. But have tell here that there are old building with old equipment, and the property many time waits some renovation.

My husband and I spent one night here. The room (Superior King) was good size, nice and clean. The bathroom is very small, clean but found hair on walls (on the one near the toilet and in the shower), probably the cleaner didn't clean the tiles as well. No toiletries (just shampoo & liquid soap) - this was not a...
