Situated secluded in the hills above Lochinver, the Inver Lodge Hotel offers beautiful views over the harbour of Lochinver and the surrounding area. It is in the middle of nature, deers regularly graze on the hotel grounds and one evening we even had a stag roaring under our window. And while the hotel’s outward appearance may be a bit austere,... More

We are a couple in our 40s, and we visited for one night towards the end of the hotel season, so this may be why we didn't enjoy our stay here as much as some of the other reviewers on here. We were extremely excited as we had pictured this hotel ambiance quite differently. There was a problem with our... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review of your recent stay, I am disappointed to read that we did not live up to your expectations. Our booking site is like most and the cost depends on the number of people staying, just like when you book a package holiday or flight. The hotel is much quieter at... More

The Inver Lodge is perched high on a hill overlooking Lochinver. The outside of the building is stark, but the interior is very well done and the view from our room was stunning. Our king room was spacious and quiet, and our bed very comfortable.

Booked somewhat last minute as an "end of season road trip" with the mutts. On arrival we were a little concerned about taking our two mutts in as they had endured a long car trip to get there. The staff on reception met us with a smile and could not possibly have been more welcoming or friendly, to both us... More

On arriving at this hotel, from the outside it is not as stunning as other hotels in the ICMI group... however the hotel inside and the rooms are beautiful. The service was exemplary from reception to waiting staff. The restaurant is Chez Roux and a 3 course meal with coffee and petit fours is £44.50pp. We enjoyed our meal here... More

Not the cheapest hotel but we found it well worth the extra. Stayed for one night on the N500 route. Dinner was fab cheese souffle excellent - scallops were delicious. Weather wasn't good but with a lovely fire we sat and relaxed with a good book and a glass of wine!

I stayed here for one night in October 2016. The hotel is located in the small village of Loch Inver on the west-coast of Scotland.
