Hubby and I spent our anniversary night here while driving the North Coast 500.
Hotel looks very understated from the outside but was lovely inside. Our room was fabulous with gorgeous views over the Loch. Dinner in the Albert Roux restaurant didn't disappoint and staff...More
We enjoyed all aspects of our stay in this hotel. The view of the water and hills from our room was lovely. The room was quiet, large, and equipped with everything we needed -- except an in-room safe. The decor was lovely and traditional. The...More

When you arrive at this hotel, you can't help noticing that the exterior is a fudge coloured render. Happily, the interior is much nicer and very spacious.
Our room was very comfortable and the Chez Roux restaurant was superb both for dinner and breakfast. Breakfasts...More

Thank you very much for your appreciated review of your stay with us this month. I am delighted to read how much you enjoyed your visit and I hope that we can welcome you back before too long. Kind regards, Nicholas Gorton
This is a nice hotel on the NC500, but calling this 5 star is a real stretch. They try hard, but it's an 80's vintage hotel with little real character. We just stayed at The Torridon on the NC500 and it's in a different league.More

There are many rooms on the ground floor all with views of the harbour and all rooms were spacious. Our room had a bath with a shower above but I am not sure if any of the rooms had a separate shower. Please be aware that the hotel is situated off the main road up a short but steep hill so you may need a car to access the hotel but well worth it, tremendous hotel.
