This lovely hotel on the north coast of Scotland is one that you must visit. The accommodation is recently refurbished and has a full bar for residents and one public bar. The rooms are very spacious and have the old furniture from the early days of the hotel. Dinner and breakfast are very good. And the staff is so polite...

Stayed here on the route NC500. Old charm so still old TVs, and the wifi is a bit sparodic - but then these normally are not top of the list if you drive out here! We were in the Superior Double £140. Nice big room and a drink when you arrive in the room is a nice touch. Great views...

Dear Sam H Thanks so much for writing your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay during your NC500 tour and that you particularly praised the food we offer. We purposely present a short menu at this time of the year but it's still well considered, freshly prepared in house and always always local produce. I note you...

I asked for a North facing room which it was but the window was tiny and view was not particularly great. The hotel meal was nice and again staff where lovely. There isn't a great choice of...

We arrived in the dark after a long drive on single track roads in heavy rain to a wonderful warm welcome. Our room was good and the bathroom had been recently refurbished with an excellent shower. The residents' lounge is comfortable and cosy. We stayed two nights and ate good meals both at dinner and breakfast. The black pudding was...

One of the best experiences I have ever had. 17th century hunters lodge, keeping all its charm and style, converted into a beautiful hotel and run efficiently by Lorraine and David! Everything about this place and our stay was magical. Stay at Duke of Sutherland suite, complementary sherry, spending time at the family room with books and chat with other...
