The Plockton Inn ( not to be confused with The Plockton Hotel) is a run by a lovely family. The bedrooms are great, sometimes spacious, clean and bright. The family do all the food and brother Kenny does the bar. There is a folk night on a Wednesday or Thursday. The music is lovely and traditional and attracts a lot...

What an idyllic peaceful beautiful setting. Stayed at 5 sister's rattan and toured round west highlands scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and lots of lovely places to eat fresh home cooked meals. If your looking for somewhere to recharge your batteries this is the place to do it. It's worth taking the original car ferry to the isle of Skye

Visiting Plockton we decided on seafood being a must after visit another bar in the area. The bar was lovley with welcoming people and local villagers one of who suggested we visit the Plockton Inn for food. Now the food was extremley good so I felt I had to give a rating and service was brilliant by the young members...

Stayed here for two nights, great choice of sea food with daily specials, wished we could have stayed longer to have tried more off the menu! The staff were friendly and knowledgable about the area. The rooms however don't match the same standard as the bar/ restaurant, they are basic and in need of updating.

Plockton has long been on my list of places to revisit. It may have taken me 25 years to do it, but I chose to book a weekend package at the Inn so that I could recharge the batteries. Perfect decision! Accommodation was just right - very cosy, well-appointed and immaculate; couldn't really ask for more. Breakfasts and dinners exceeded...

Excellent comfortable room with showering facility for the disabled in my room. The restaurant menu especially in terms of locally caught seafood is sensational and the lively bar often has raucous and entertaining folk music sessions with local musicians
