We last visited two years ago and wanted to share this special place with our son and his partner. They loved the accommodation, location and hospitality as much as we had - and still do. Jeanine and Bill are very special hosts, providing informed conversation...More

We stayed 2 nights, which I'd recommend as the minimum to enjoy Oudrif. The quirky straw bale huts are simple, stylish, light, airy and very comfortable, with little patios overlooking the river and gorge. The bales give a peaceful feeling to the rooms and there...More

There's nothing I can add to all the rave reviews left by others other than to reiterate how relaxing it is. And there's plenty to see and do...walks, bird watching, bushmens' cave paintings to see nearby. The food was divine and the two hosts interesting, knowledgeable...More

There is no cellphone reception at Oudrif but if you either walk up the mountain or drive some distance up the road, you will get a signal. You would have to check other access with Bill and Jeanine, the owners.
