This is the second time we have camped in Pineknot campground. We love that is is at the base of snow summit. It’s conveniently located in the middle of big bear but feels secluded. There are no hook-ups but is kept clean.

Great hike with huge elevation changes. Came here and made it all the way up. Had a little weather come in but was very serene and incredible views of The Valley and lake. Put this on your list of places to hike!
